Abstract: This paper empirically investigates the relationship between export diversification and economic growth in Côte d'Ivoire from 1995 to 2018. We analyzed the time series characteristics of the data and opted for an error-correction ARDL(2,4,4,4) model. Using the Bounds test we found support for a long run relationship among the variables. We also found a positive relationship between export diversification and economic growth in the short run. Whereas, in the long run, we found a negative relationship. Thus, specialization would be beneficial to the country's economic performance. Moreover, in the long run investment will positively impact growth whereas labour participation rate would have a negative impact on growth.

Abstract: Agent banking is receiving much attention all over the world owing to its associated benefits. The adoption of agent banking in Bangladesh is mainly geared to improve on market share by attracting and retaining their customers, improving their financial performance and create variety of services. This study aims to investigate the impact of agent banking on the financial performance of commercial banks in Bangladesh. Financial performance of commercial banks that is measured by Return on Equity (ROE).This study is quantitative in nature and to get the result 19 commercial banks in Bangladesh has been taken as sample of the study. Secondary data has been used which is collected from balance sheets and income statements of the sample banks and also from the central bank of Bangladesh, covering the period of 2016-2019.The multiple regression model are used to analyze data.....

Abstract: This study aimed to examine the effects of firm specific factors (firm size, liquidity ratio, operating margin, loss ratio, expense ratio, premium growth, and reinsurance & actuarial issue) on solvency margin. Solvency margin is dependent variable while firm size, liquidity ratio, operating margin, loss ratio, expense ratio, premium growth and reinsurance & actuarial issue are independent variables. Multiple regression analysis was carried out in order to see independent variables impact on the solvency margin of insurance companies. The outcome of the study revealed that firm size, liquidity ratio and reinsurance & actuarial issue affect solvency margin were found positively and significantly affects the solvency margin of insurance companies whereas the other variables were found statistically insignificant. The national regulator should develop a clear directive regarding the reinsurance arrangement of the insurance company and set the minimum level insurance premium for each class of business.

Abstract: This study sought to assess the link between credit survey information and commercial banks' lending to nonfinancial corporate sectors in Kenya. In particular, credit survey information included information on credit
standards, credit demand and non-performing loans. The study used secondary data extracted fromreports prepared by the Central Bank of Kenya and Kenya National Bureau of Statistics such as Quarterly Economic
Reviews, Credit Survey Reports, Bank Stability Reports and Bank Supervision Reports for the period December 2012 – September 2018. The data obtained was analyzed using the panel regression model for random effects as
supported by Hausman test results. The study found out that there exist a statistically significant positive relationship between credit demand and commercial banks' lending to the non-financial corporate sectors. In
respect to credit standards, the study found no evidence.....

Abstract: The continuous preference of Nigerians for foreign and imported goods has been a major challenge facing the Nigerian economy. The persistence of the status quo as a result of de-marketing of locally manufactured productsremains a major hindrance to the development of domestic industries that could enhance sustainable economic growth and development in Nigeria. Consequently, this study assessed the implications of de-marketing on some macroeconomic indicators with the view to bringing out the importance of local industries in achieving sustainable economic development in Nigeria.The study adopted times series data using co integrated research technique by conducting trend analyses on some macroeconomic variables such as import, export, manufacturing output and unemployment rate. Abstract: The issue of how a company is financed has been of concern to finance managers for a long-time. The objective of this study is to investigate impact of combined leverage on capital employed of selected listed manufacturing firms in Nigeria from 2008 to 2014. Ex-post facto research design was used for this study. The secondary data were obtained from the Factbook published by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and financial statements of selected companies. Results from the study revealed that degree of combined leverage exhibited significant and positive relationship with total capital employed.
