Abstract: The socio-economic, technological and emotional imbalance remains an issue of individual growth in career development and work-life balance. The impact of mentoring programs for sustainable career development and work and lifestyle balance in biomedical professions was examined. Career development was studied using self-assessment, career awareness, performance, skill acquisition, goal setting and work-life style balance. Career development can be achieved with pleasure if the essential routes were addressed by the parties involved in mentoring programs. Proffered solution of organizational support, social support, use of modern facilities and self-assessment were recommended as tools for mentoring programs that reduced pain, depression, friction and wear, and emotional stress of mentors and mentees. Thus, provide an outstanding strength of social, economic, technological and emotional output as well as good healthy conditions for career development and stable work-lifestyle to achieve a set goal and target in biomedical engineering profession based on action plans.

Abstract: Allene oxide synthase (AOS) is a member of CYP74A subfamily of the P450 enzyme superfamily that plays an important role in biosynthesis of oxylipins, which exhibit signaling and defense functions in mammals, plant, algae and fungi. The main objective of this report is to characterize the structural features of two Zea mays AOS genes (AOS_2b and 1c) that phylogenetically belong to separate clades of the same subfamily through computational methods. Tertiary models of both proteins were generated and evaluated, and both showed good quality in different energy and conformation assessments. Abstract: Pyocyanin is a fluorescent phenazine pigment of a bright blue color, synthesized exclusively by about 95% of Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains. Laboratory acquisition of the pigment is achieved by employing simple protocols. The aim of this work was to increase the production of pyocyanin by adding different concentrations of craft beer waste (w/v) to King A broth, incubated by shaking at 150 rpm, at 29±1ºC for 96 hours. Compared to the control group, a positive correlation was observed between the production of pyocyanin and the percentage of malt bagasse added. This contributed to the increase of pigment concentration up to approximately 70%, over the control, with values ranging from 21 to 58 μg/ml. The craft beer waste proved to be an environmentally friendly option as an adjuvant in the process of pyocyanin production in a synthetic medium..

Abstract: Five medicinal plants such as Melastoma malabathricum, Mimosa pudica, Ricinus communis, Solanum torvum, Alocasia macrorrhiza were employed to investigate the presence of various phytochemicals using different biochemical tests, to determine total phenolic content based on Folin-Ciocaltaeus reagent method, total flavonoid contents using aluminium chloride colorimetric method, antioxidant potentiality according to DPPH assay and antibacterial efficacy by disc diffusion assay of the selected medicinal plants. Abstract: Effective transmission of mosquito-borne disease requires successful contact between female mosquitoes and their hosts. Investigations on the prevalence of mosquito species and infective biting rate of Anopheles were made between June and December, 2018 in Bali district, Taraba state, Nigeria. Abstract: Skin diseases are most common form of infection occurring in people of all ages. The aim of the study is not only to prescribe remedies for skin diseases in human beings but also to draw attention for the need towards a detailed study on ethnomedicinal plants. In the present study, we have documented traditional knowledge of 92 medicinal plants species belonging to 43 families used in various types of skin diseases in Wardha district. The information on the plant used as traditional medicine against skin diseases was gathered on the basis of ethnomedicinal survey based on interviews with local people involved in traditional herbal medicine practices.The medicinal plants studied are used to cure variety of skin diseases like swelling, wound healing, psoriasis, scabies, eczema.......

Abstract: This study was designed for isolation of bioactive flavonoid molecule Fisetin from Ethanolic fruit Extract of Fragaria X ananassa. Crude extract of strawberry was prepared using ethanol. The ethanolicfruit extract wassubjected for photochemical analysis and the isolated compound was subjected to FT-IR, GC-MS and their free radical scavenging activity was studied.Then the characterization techniques confirmed that the isolated compound was found to be Fisetin. The free radical scavenging activity proposes that the isolated compound fisetin could act as aeffective source of antioxidants.The bioactive flavonoid compound fisetinwas isolated effectively from the Ethanolic fruit Extract of Fragaria X ananassa.and their antioxidant activity was studied..
