Abstract: To achieve more accurate measurements of the mobile station (MS) location, it is possible to integrate many kinds of measurements. In this paper we proposed several hybrid methods that utilized time of arrival (TOA) at seven base stations (BSs) and the angle of arrival (AOA) information at the serving BS to give location estimation of the MS in non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environments. From the viewpoint of geometric approach, for each a TOA value measured at any BS, one can generate a circle. The MS position is then given by the intersections of the circles from multiple TOA measurements. Rather than applying the nonlinear circular lines of position (LOP), the proposed methods are easier by using linear LOP to determine the MS. In addition, the proposed methods can mitigate the NLOS effect.............

Abstract: robotics is one of the branches of artificial intelligence that act consistently. Case of a mobile robot which is assigned a specific task, we must be able to give him the means to learn the environment and to act according to the role for which he should be created this requires that the robot has capability to learn, sensors and it can act through actuators.The development of the order goes through several stages which include the data of a predictive model of the robot can tell us how to develop the command to perform a given task.The synthesis of the command requires programming a controller that provides the necessary signal of the actuators.The complexity of the implementation of such a system is the fact that several disciplines are mixed electronics, control, computer and mechanical engineering.

Abstract: Increasing the efficiency of hybrid ship propulsion complexes (CPC) according to various criteria of energy management strategies.On the basis of classification of topologies of circuitry solutions of ship power plants (SPP) of the CPC, for mechanical, electric and hybrid types of engines, the flowchart of control strategies for the criterion of minimum energy consumption is defined. The change in the technical component of the traditional approach to the construction of hybrid CPC's power systems applies the principle of modifying the structure of the SPP with the integration of an additional static power supply as the dynamic reserve, which has allowed meeting the current energy efficiency requirements, vibration levels, noise and degradation effects produced for the SPP CPC in all energy fields for energy transfer to propellers. Abstract: This paper presents an iterative learning control (ILC) methodology-based optimal linear quadratic digital tracker (LQDT) for the five degree of freedom (five-DOF) active magnetic bearing (AMB) system as a multi-input multi-output sampled-date system. Abstract: This research describes fundamental ways to navigate an optimal driving path within a road map image from Google. Without any usage of developed driving software and well-made test curves for a road, we seek for a path on an interesting Google Map image using basic MATLAB functions. Considering the natural driving factors of visibility and the speed limit, a proper step size is selected and a driving algorithm is established by utilizing mathematical modulus theory and Image Processing technique of color identification. The optimized driving path with the minimum angle turns at each step is sought and refined for the better smooth path. The research concludes that consideration of visibility factor is very important in the design of smooth pathways. With a corresponding USGS elevation data three dimensional terrain map is created and the virtual 3D trajectory is simulated parallel to the 2D plotting

Abstract: By presenting an analytical model of a PV cell as well as the whole panel this paper aims to investigate the effects of parameters and partial shadow on the energy output of various PV (Photo-Voltaic) module. Because of the practical strain of conducting experiments on diverse array sizes, a generalized MATLAB M-code has been advanced for any required array size, configuration, and shadow patterns. In this research work, we used some experimental models that can provide sufficient degree of precision without increasing the computational effort. We also observed the output power of a solar cell greatly depends on parasitic resistances and temperature. Moreover, this research work has examined the effects of temperature, series and shunt resistors on the output characteristics of a PV module along with partial shadowing effect on the performance of a solar panel.

Abstract: Gallium Nitride (GaN) High Electron Mobility Transistors (HEMTs) have demonstrated their capabilities to be an excellent candidate for high voltage, high temperature, high-power, and high-frequency power electronic applications. In this paper, a simplified LTspice model of the GaN HEMT device is proposed. The current GaN HEMT from GaN System Inc. is evaluated including static and dynamic characteristics for different gate resistances, different load currents and at various temperatures.In addition, a simple mathematical model is derived to estimate the optimal external gate resistance required to obtain lower feasible switching losses, while ensuring that the oscillation in the gate-source voltage is reduced sufficiently. The results showed that the model is effectively simulating the static and dynamic behavior of GaN device. Furthermore, the actual power losses of this device can be easily calculated.
