Abstract: Black Cotton Soils are known for their high swelling and shrinkage potential due to moisture fluctuations, resulting in severe volumetric changes. These behaviours lead to excessive settlement and structural instability, posing significant challenges in construction over such soils. Black cotton soils need to be improved to make them suitable for construction. Soil stabilization is the process employed to improve these soils' characteristics is called soil stabilization.
