Abstract: This paper focused on promoting economic security and employment generation through effective management of education and entrepreneurial skills in Nigeria. Highlighted in the paper were some means through which economic security, employment generation and entrepreneurial skills could be enhanced for students in tertiary institutions. The definition of some terms was outlined. Further discussed in the paper were: the importance of developing entrepreneurial skills curriculum in education; managing education through effective utilization of entrepreneurship education for promotion of economic security and employment generation; and the challenges affecting effective utilization of entrepreneurship education for promotion of economic security and employment generation.

In the novel she has been described as beautiful youth and second wife of Okonkwo. Her bold action was as she ran from her previous husband and came to live with Okonkwo, in a patriarchcal society. She loved wrestling and it might be the reason that she liked Okonkwo..

Abstract: This study presents the findings of the relationship between students' achievement in Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Mathematics conducted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and the National Examination Council (NECO) in four selected secondary schools in Ifedayo Local Government Area , Osun State, Nigeria. The analysis showed that there is significant positive relationship between Mathematics in all the selected schools contrary to the hypothesis that says there is no relationship in West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) NECO Mathematics results in the schools.

Abstract: Curriculum of 2013 has been started since July 2013 in schools appointed as the implementer. This study is experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design. It aims at discovering whether discovery learning model implementation could increase student's listening score and social attitude in accordance with curriculum of 2013 implementation. The subjects of this study are 37 students of class X IPA 5 Public High School 2 Jember in their 2nd semester of 2014/2015 academic year. This study concluded that the implementation of discovery learning model could increase students' listening score and social attitude, with significance value of 0,005 (z = -2,823, p < 0,001), with medium effect size for listening score and significance value of 0,000 (-4,875, p < 0,001), with large effect size for social attitude.

Abstract: The present study aims to study motivations of students in choosing the medical profession and whether these motivations are different, gender wise along with their demographic features. The study was conducted on 150 students of MIMER Medical College, Pune. Demographic result of the study indicated that enrolment in medical faculty was more by girls (83) than by boys (67) and majority of students came from medical family. A primary motivation factor in girls was patient care, interest in science, career opportunity and personal skills.

A universal term would apply to everyone and every society. On the other hand, an absolute term does not permit exceptions. To say that teaching is a profession in the universal sense means that this ought to apply to all people and all societies; and to view it in the absolute sense as is often the majority belief in Nigeria means that there are no circumstances in which it would be wrong to call teaching a "profession‟ Our position in this paper is that the term teaching profession can only be attributed to societies which in the course of their educational development attained the level of professionalism.

Abstract: Muslim constitutes India's largest minority but educationally they are one of the most backward communities in the country .Muslim girls lag behind their male counterparts and women from other community in the country itself. Women from different socio-economic strata have a great deal of marginalization in their life situations. There are also significant differences in women's specific status across regions, caste and class, communities and religion. Women in India have made significant strides during the six decades entering every field of education and taking on the challenges of various professions. However, masses of women remain restricted by the vicious circles of family expectations, gender role discrimination, social stereotype and stigma. The absence of gender disaggregated data by religion, particularly in respect of literacy rate, enrollment rates at different stages of education, dropout rates etc., at national, states, district levels was a formidable bottleneck in the planning and development of strategies and programmes for education of Muslim girls.
