Abstract: Team-based learning (TBL) is a student-centered teaching approach that requires both individual and group accountability to ensure a fruitful teaching/learning experience. We adopted TBL in teaching second year Pharmacy students Pharmacology course in Dubai Pharmacy College (DPC), Dubai, UAE. The present study assessed students' perception to TBL as a teaching/learning method. Second year students were divided into 10 groups 7-8 students each.

Abstract: No matter how well designed or filled with cogent material curricula are, they cannot adequately prepare an early career professional for working with practical situations and puzzles. Of late, ZOU has an influx of undergraduates who are straight from high school and these have limited exposure to field experiences. Hence even after graduation, the practicality of their fields of study is elusive. This was an exploratory research whose findings will be used to evaluate the psychology programme offered at ZOU. The study used a qualitative methodology and purposive sampling to select the participants and data sources. Data was collected through depth interviews, document analysis and focus group discussions. The research has a longitudinal element; hence the sample included 25 BSc. Honours in Psychology graduates from ZOU within the past 5 years.

Abstract: Children born with complications or from mothers who had complicated pregnancies suffer brain injuries of different types and magnitudes ranging from a small caput succedaneum to cerebral palsy. One of the major parts that are subject to injuries is the brain due to high demand for oxygen. This ultimately affects the neurodevelopment which manifest in challenges with memory, mastery and learning. In Zimbabwe, children who succumb to birth trauma ultimately find their way into mainstream schools. The study sought to compare and evaluate the perceptions of Bulawayo's private and public primary school teachers towards learning challenges of children who suffered birth trauma.

Abstract: Parental involvement in their children's education has been proven by research to improve the children's confidence, interest and performance at school. A qualitative case study to evaluate the influence of parental involvement was conducted. The study sample was purposively sampled and consisted of 20 school heads, 20 teachers and 20 pupils. The researcher was the main research instrument during data gathering. She assumed the role of the interviewer and an observer. Data were analysed using thematic content analysis. The findings showed that, parents who had children enrolled in rural and public urban schools were less committed to their children's learning. Further, they were not worried much about their children's school environment. They consulted less with the teachers and did not supervise their children's home work. Parents whose children were in private schools had better communication and interaction with their children's teachers. There were various models that were used to improve parent-teacher relationship for the betterment of the children's learning needs.

Abstract: In this paper, we examine the impact of gender, mode of admission, parental higher institutional status, family home status and campus residential status on students' level of academic performance using the concept and application of multinomial logistic regression model. The statistical analysis is carried out on a random sampling of 289 students from all the schools/faculty in FUTA. Information required for the analysis was obtained through the administration of questionnaire to answer the research questions and thereafter applied chi–square and multinomial logistic regression methodology was employed.

Abstract: Styles are important to effective teaching. Studies on teaching styles and methods of Physiotherapy (PT) Educators (Ed) are scanty in Nigeria. This study assessed pedagogical method and style of PT Ed in southwest Nigeria. Method: Ethical approval, and informed consent were obtained for this cross sectional survey. Procedure for data collection was explained to randomly selected PT students' assessors. Twenty seven blinded PT Ed of 3 selected universities were assessed, through classroom observation for pedagogical method and styles, using checklist rating forms for classroom observation and evaluation. Two assessors each observed a class at a designated time, and independently filled out checklists forms. Subsequently their ratings of items on the forms were reconciled, and recorded. Data were analyzed with descriptive, and inferential statistics at 0.05.

Abstract: This study aims at evaluating quality of teaching skills among faculty members by the perspective of students at Najran University. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed and distributed to (300) male and female students from various colleges. The questionnaire consisted of (54) items distributed on four domains: Planning, teaching, assessment and communication skills. The results showed an average level of faculty members' practice of teaching skills. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the gender and the type of the college.

Abstract: The study examines the content and support mechanism of entrepreneurship education in Nigeria. The content and support mechanism remain fundamental in curriculum issue. The study used teachers' population and 216 samples were employed. Questionnaire instrument was used in data collection process and descriptive statistics was employed in analysing the data. The findings of the study show that content and support mechanism of the curriculum were adequate. The implication of the study revealed that content and support mechanism are capable of providing students with entrepreneurship skills require and it is recommended that periodic review of content and support mechanism in order to ensure consistency of curriculum with time and global trend.

Abstract: Positive interpersonal relationship at work foster a variety of beneficial outcomes for individual and organization hence, this paper on improving interpersonal relationship in workplace. This study is aimed at examining the need for interpersonal relationship in workplace. Three (3) research questions were raised and answered. Theoretical works were reviewed. The findings from the review were; (1) that employee's demographics and work environment can in a way affect interpersonal relationship in workplace if not properly managed. (2) That positive interpersonal relationship in workplace should be rooted in dispositional differences. (3) That the level of compatibility, communication and interaction settings between workers goes a long way in either improving or hindering interpersonal relationship in workplace.
