Abstract: Background: The policy for implementing online-based learning has finally become the official direction of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia, which recommends that all education units in Indonesia try to prevent the spread of Covid-19 by eliminating direct learning. Abstract: Background: One of the problems found during the learning process in the classroom is the lack of accuracy in the selection of the media used. Abstract: The problem of teaching styles of teachers in the science arm of secondary schools has been a subject of concern and discuss. Many studies have been carried out to investigate factors that affect teaching styles but very few have considered the role of classroom management. This study therefore investigated the influence of classroom management on teaching styles science teachers in senior secondary schools, Nigeria. Abstract: Background: Mobile e-books together with Blackboard LMS and Elluminate were integrated and used as extensive reading activities, i.e., as a supplement to in-class reading instruction. The aim of the activity was to develop EFL struggling freshman student readers enhance their reading skills through short, simplified e-books.
Materials and Methods: Two groups of freshman students participated in the study. The experimental group used extensive collaborative e-book reading activities whereas the control group read paper books of their choice on their own out of class. Students in the experimental group were divided into small groups and were assigned a free e-book. The e- books selected matched the students' proficiency level and interests. Abstract: The study examined academic resilience as a predictor of secondary school students' academic achievement in biology in Onitsha Education Zone. Two research questions guided the study and two hypotheses were tested. The design of the study was correlational survey. The population of the study was 5,512 senior secondary school year two (SS2) students offering biology in Onitsha Education Zone out of which 1,200 students was sampled using a multi-stage sampling procedure. Academic Resilience Scale (ARS) validated by three experts was used for data collection. The reliability of the instrument was established using Cronbach Alpha to be 0.84. Abstract: The purpose of the study was to determine the difference in the effect of using the module on student learning achievement and to find out the difference in the effect of using the module on students' cultural awareness. This study uses a quasi-experimental. The population of this study was students of history education. Students who are used as the population are students who take Indonesian history education courses. There are two classes. Both classes will be used as control and experimental classes. The class is class A as the control class and B as the experimental class. The data analysis technique used the t-test. The results showed that the experimental class students who were taught with module learning materials had higher learning outcomes than the control class who used textbooks. Abstract: In the field of social development, free journalists in the Republic of China have three social roles: journalists, liberals and nationalists. The "literati on politics" of the free newspaper is based on the professional concept of journalism, the pursuit of liberal values, and the purpose of enriching the country and strengthening the country, reflecting the blending of the three roles. But the pursuit of "public opinion to save the country".Therefore, there are deep contradictions and conflicts among the three roles. They can not get rid of the basic problems perplexing modern intellectuals, nor can they really implement the concept of professional newspapers and periodicals.
