Abstract: The intrauterine teratogenic effects of phenobarbital on maternal outcome when prescribed in varied doses remain poorly understood. This study, therefore, set to evaluate the prenatal teratogenic effects of varied doses of phenobarbital on maternal outcome in albino rats when prescribed at different gestational period in albino rats. In conducting this study, a post-test only control experimental study design was adopted.
