ABSTRACT: Generally, the distribution channel of the Kuini commodity supply chain has many risks, such as short product shelf life, unclear price certainty, uncertain weather factors and others. The purpose of this study is to produce a strategy to minimize the risk of each member of the Kuini Anjir supply chain in Barito Kuala Regency. Specifically, the purpose of this research is to identify various supply chain risks, analyze the supply chain members with the highest risk, and know how to evaluate supply chain risks. The analytical tools used are Analytical Network Process (ANP) and Weighted Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (WFMEA), as well as SWOT analysis. Identification of kuini fruit supply chain risks, namely problem clusters (increasing quality and added value, increasing productivity, ensuring supply continuity, increasing income), actor clusters (farmers, collectors, and retailers), risk clusters......

ABSTRACT: COVID-19 pandemic affected almost all the production activities not only in Bangladesh but also all over the world. The present effort was directed towards quantification of economic return from small-scale broiler farming in Southern part of Bangladesh. For this purpose 100 smallholder farms along with their respective feed and chick dealers from ten southern districts of Bangladesh were interviewed. Collected data were subjected to analysis in appropriate statistical programs. Findings revealed that owners of 20-55 years old were engaged in this sort of farming activities having on an average 845 birds farm-1. However, nearly three-fourths of them started the business with no technical knowhow.........

ABSTRACT: One of the programs that can be implemented by women managing watersheds (DAS) in an effort to improve family welfare and preserve the environment, especially in the food sector, is the program for planting and utilizing the watershed environment as a place to plant Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA). This program also responds to the decline in people's purchasing power due to increasingly expensive drug prices, so that it indirectly has an impact on the decline in public health status. The general purpose of the research is to see the efforts of empowering women around the Martapura watershed in the use of yard land to plant TOGA by formulating strategies and programs for women's empowerment. To answer these objectives, a SWOT analysis was carried out to determine the strategy and then continued with the Process Hierarchy (AHP) analysis to determine the priority strategy.........

ABSTRACT: Background: Tidal swampland is one of natural resources which must be utilized wisely. It is considered as marginal land, which is naturally susceptible to disturbances as basically, they are sustained by delicate hydrology. In tidal swampland, rice cultivation method is simple, utilizing energy for intermittently inundating and draining the rice field. The periodical movement of soil water is quite effective in generating soil fertility, however rice cultivation carried out only once a year. In order to increase cropping index to 200 or more, it needs water management technology to overcome the excessive water availability especially in rainy season such as to construct structured barrier with a flip gate that can block and releasewater throughout the year. The SERASI(save swamps, prosper farmers) programas one of government program isintended to increase rice production by optimizing land use..........

ABSTRACT: The experiment, yield response of cocoyam (Colocasia esculenta and Xanthosoma sagittifolia) cultivars to different planting dates in the rainforest zone of Anambra State, Nigeria was conducted in 2019 at the Teaching and Research Farm of Department of Crop Science and Horticulture, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam Anambra State. The research was a 3x3 factorial experiment which was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) in three replicates. Three cultivars of cocoyam and 3 planting dates constitute nine (9) treatment combinations (cultivars x varying date of planting). The aim was to find out the best period during the rainy season for planting each variety of the cocoyam cultivars..........

ABSTRACT: Mannooligosaccharide is a kind of oligosaccharide which is very beneficial to human health. It has obvious intestinal probiotics and immune regulation. As a new prebiotic, the research and application of mannooligosaccharide is less. In order to better develop and utilize mannooligosaccharide and provide theoretical and experimental basis for the development of mannooligosaccharide products. This paper studies the probiotic effect of mannooligosaccharide by fermentation culture of two probiotics, using single factor test and response surface test. The effects of mannooligosaccharides on the probiotics were studied. Main results: (1) the growth promoting effects of mannooligosaccharides and other oligosaccharides on Lactobacillus plantarum and Streptococcus thermophilus were compared by single factor experiment.........
