ABSTRACT: A study was undertaken to investigate the effect of papaya leaf juice on growth performance and bacterial load in the feces of Sonali chicken. A total of one hundred eighty (180) vigorous 28 days Sonali chicks were randomly divided into five treatment groups namely T0 (Control), T1 (growth promoter (Amino solve) @1ml/1L drinking water), T2 (10% papaya leaf juice in drinking water), T3 (20% papaya leaf juice in drinking water) and T4 (5% dried leaf in feed) having three replication in each treatment group. Data on live weight and feed intake were collected and bacterial load in feces was recorded. Total feed intake was non-significant (P>0.05) among the treatment groups but final live weight, live weight gain, and FCR significantly differed. Total feed intake and live........

ABSTRACT: The cauliflower (Brassica oleraceaL. var. botrytis) is one of the most important cole crops grown widely throughout the country. It is mostly grown during winter season in the plains for its white tender curds formed by the shortened flower parts. Its edible curd is made-up of abortive flowers, the stalk of which are fleshy and loosely crowded. It is herbaceous annual for vegetable production and biennial for seed production. India is the second largest producer of vegetables in the world, next to China. These are grown in 8.5 million hectares with a production of 146.55 million tonnes forming 14.90 and 14.48 per cent, respectively to the world area and production.India is the largest producer of cauliflower in the world. The major cauliflower growing states are Bihar, U.P. Orrisa

ABSTRACT: Long beans are kind of the vegetable crops as a source of vitamins and minerals. The functions of this vegetable is a regulator of body metabolism, increasing intelligence and body resistance, and also facilitate the digestive process due to its high fiber content. The aim of this study was determined the effect of cow manure and tofu waste includes interaction both of them on the growth and yield of long bean crops. This research was used a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two factors and 3 replicated, which in the first factor was used the Tofu waste, namely: T1 = 1 kg.......

ABSTRACT: Background: Corn is a major source of carbohydrates and can be used as a substitute for rice. Indonesia's demand for corn has increased substantially in the last decade with the rise of the population. The position of corn in diversifying food consumption serves to reduce dependence on the staple food rice so that its availability is required in sufficient quantities.
Materials and Methods: This study aims to analyze the factors that influence sweet corn production and measure allocative efficiency (price efficiency) in Sukaramah Village, Panyipatan District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan. The village.......

ABSTRACT: This study evaluated the in-vitro dry matter digestibility and nutritional and anti-nutritional changes that occurred in Moringa oleifera leaves on fermentation. Four fermentation methods were used spontaneous (S) fermentation, probiotic fermentation using clostridium butyricum, and Bacillus coagulans, with three replicates, each in a completely randomised design (CRD). All the fermentation methods used affected the parameters measured positively. An IVDM trial was performed by adding 5 mL pepsin porcine grade enzyme with 4x USP activity (Pepsin from porcine gastric mucosa powder, ≥250 units/mg solid Sigma-Aldrich Corp., St. Louis, MO, USA) containing 1 mg pepsin per ml 0.02 M HCl method. Results indicated a significant difference in IVDMD%. Fermentation T2 (bacillus......
