Abstract: The use of databases has for long been for the computer elites in the society as well as multinationals that can pay for their services, and these has inhibited the scope and wide use of database applications. The aim of this paper is to develop yet another flexible query interface for relational databases that is user friendly and has the capability to adequately help users work with databases without a thorough knowledge of database programming. It also provides guidelines for users interested in learning the technicalities involved in database query writing. The proposed system uses an object oriented methodology and was implemented using Java programming language.From the result, the system shows a high level of flexibility in database query processing.

Title | : | Music Data Organization Using Heuristic Hierarchical Agglomerative Co-Clustering |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | N. V. Keerthana || S. P. Yazhini |
Abstract: In Data mining, Information Retrieval (IR) is the study of significant recent interest. In IR the Music Information Retrieval (MIR) is unitary of the challenging problems. At MIR, the utilization of Tags, Styles and Mood labels (T/S/M) can be extracted from some music websites. A typical problem is how to understand the relationship between the T/S/M. Co-clustering is the combination of two different types of data simultaneously. Hierarchical Co-clustering (HCC) extracts the acoustic features of music to find the similarity among the artist. In this paper, we systematically analyze the application of Heuristic Hierarchical Agglomerative Co-clustering (HHACC) method for music data organization. We demonstrate that this HHACC method achieves better performance than other clustering methods.

Authors | : | J.Frank Reuben Jebaraj || Dr. E. Kirubakaran |
Abstract: Technological innovation in graphics and other human motion tracking hardware has promoted approaching "virtual reality" closer to "reality" and thus usage of virtual reality has been unlimited to various realms. The world is becoming ever more interconnected and reliant on information obtainable on the Internet. The use of Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) worlds as a mechanism for information access is a breakthrough. Access to that information for all people is vital. The challenge is to develop methodologies and guidelines for making VRML accessible. VRML opens up new prospects but also raises new hurdles. In this paper, we propose some strategies, develop some techniques, and provide some tools to help create more accessible VRML worlds. Also in this paper we will describe a set of techniques for improving access to VRML environments for people with debilities ranging from simple documented additions to the VRML file to scripts which aid in the creation of more accessible worlds.

Title | : | Performance Issues on the Interoperability between IEEE 802.3 & IEEE 802.11 in Heterogeneous Network Environment |
Country | : | Nigeria |
Authors | : | Adetokunbo M. John-Otumu || Rebecca E. Imhanlahimi |
Abstract: This paper addresses network computing that seeks to utilize the aggregate resources of many networked computers that can be installed in heterogeneous environment to solve problems of resource allocation, and so on. In doing this, it has to combine the performance from an inexpensive wired local area network (LAN) and wireless local area networks (WLAN) using different operating system, protocols and topologies due to the drawbacks of wired LAN not supporting mobility, quality of services (QoS) in security, and the usage of too many cables. The exchange of data from Wired LAN to Wireless LAN and vice versa is also another main issue to be addressed. The interoperability between the IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.11 is done at the data link layer (layer 2) of the OSI model.
