Abstract: Money laundering is the process of converting obtained money into legitimate funds to conceal its origin it is a global problem that is associated with criminal activities such as drug trafficking, terrorism, and extension. Abstract: The China-Africa trade was examined for the period 2001-2022. Trade indexes were used to examine the nature of this trade and how it has evolved over the years. The trade indexes used are the Revealed trade preference index (RTPij), the Trade complementarity index (TCIij), and the Revealed trade barrier index (RTBjik). Since 2009, China has overtaken Africa's traditional trading partners to become Africa's top major trading partner. While the China-Africa trade is least among the other regions China trades with (USA, Asia, Europe, and South America and the Caribbean) and is also the least complementary, the RTPij results show that China-Africa trade linkages have strengthened over the years, and the TCIij results show that trade between the two has become more complementary over the years. Abstract: The Kenya Vision 2030 set ambitious goals for the nation's political, social and economic development. Specifically, the economic component aspires to attain a 10% annual economic growth rate. Achieving this goal heavily hinges on investments, and Kenya currently leans on public debt to fund investments and promote economic growth. Nevertheless, an excessive dependence on public debt carries potential drawbacks, including the risk of crowding out private investments and obstructing long-term economic growth. This research sought to examine the impact of public debt on Kenya's private investments and economic growth. Time series data spanning from 2000 to 2021 were utilized to analyse the causal relationships among public debt, economic growth, and private investments.
