Abstract: Using data from the 2008 Eine survey, this study explores the relationship between gender equality and financial inclusion in Nigeria. It aims to determine the extent and underlying factors of financial exclusion experienced by Nigerian women. Examining the behavioral and contextual differences between men and women is encouraged by the study's substantial net influence of gender on financial exclusion, even after controlling for several demographic variables.
