Abstract: Scope of my study is to attribute the right responsibility to thiocyanates which are present in this corrupted aerosol, that is the polluted atmosphere in our European industrialised countries, victims of Global Warming, have with regards to Human Health, depending on the heat and humidity, trying to explain the concern using the Eötvös' rule.

Abstract: Instant Foods" play an important role in everyone's day-to-day life. The very term 'instant food' means simple, fast and convenient food which is easy and fast to prepare besides being hygienic, free from microbial contamination and also convenient to eat. Instant foods have become popular with time because of less cost, time and energy saving, convenience in preparation and consumption in the busy and hectic life. Abstract: Information on wetland function in waste water treatment is very important as the information can be used to remove undesirable qualities of water. The objective of the study was to determine the levels of physico-chemical parameters in the waste water before and after passing through the Tibia wetland. Four sampling sites were selected which are Limuru Water and Sewerage Company inlet, Bata Shoes Company inlet, inside the wetland and the wetland outlet. Water samples were collected twice every week for a period of four months (November 2012 to February 2013).......

Abstract: Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are known as flavor producer microorganisms. This characteristic could be utilized to produce a fermented chili mash that has unique odour profile. The purpose of this work was to screen flavor producer LAB isolated from local foods to be used as bacterial culture in chili mash. Two sources of LAB starter, autochthonous (isolated from two months pre-fermented chili mash) and allochthonous (isolated from raw milk and home-made yoghurt) were evaluated.......

Abstract: This paper presents the construction and performance evaluation of a rock bed integrated green house new type solar air heating system gross area of 1m2. Abstract: Lotus stem (Nelumbonucifera) is an indigenous vegetable confined to selective cuisines of South East Asia. Lotus stem is a nutritionally balanced food. It is low in fat, low in sugar and high in protein, minerals and vitamins. Lotus stem has been proven to exhibit anti-microbial, antipyretic, anti-viral and anti-fungal activity. The alkaloids in lotus stem have been proven effective in the management of diseases like hypertension, type-2 diabetes and various viral and fungal infections. Abstract: The Niger Delta coastal exposure makes for the dynamic nature of the shoreline. Land sat Tm of 30 x 30 m of 1986 and 2010 were employed to examine the change in the shoreline of the Niger Delta. Abstract: This study aimed at establishing the linkage between sanitation and the prevalence of the waterborne diseases in Mbeere North, Embu County, Kenya. The accessible population was population within 7,985 households obtained from 12 locations. A sample size of 367 was used. Systematic random sampling was used on the population frame of 7,958. Secondary data constituted waterborne diseases from health facilities, and population statistics. Abstract: The purity of drinking water is a major concern in the cities of developing countries. Hyderabad receives drinking water from five reservoirs namely Osmansagar, Himayathsagar, Manjira, Singur and Krishna. Abstract: Present paper deals with, detailed assessment of mycorrhization established by Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) with Ceropegia media (Huber) Ansari, i.e. species considered as endemic and endangered to one of the world's biodiversity hotspots region in Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India. Moreover, the first endemic genus was studied for the first time in respect of AMF root colonization from India. Microscopic observations of cleared and stained roots showed 55.77% AMF colonization. Abstract: In the present study green gram (Vigna radiate (L) Wilczez) was cultivate in plate and pot method using decolorized textile effluent (dye waste water) at different concentration 25%, 50%, 100% beside a control. Regular observation was made on growth and yield of the plant and the nutrient status of the soil were assessed. The noted seed germination was well grown in all the concentrations. The plant survival rate was found to be 100% in all the water concentration........

Abstract: Poor air quality has been shown to have serious adverse effects on public health. The continuous importation and usage of over-aged vehicles in Nigeria for transportation has been discovered to be a major contributor to the exhaust emission of pollutant gases especially carbon monoxide, CO which have been termed to be a silent killer of whose attendant toxicological effect have greatly affected human especially the children and elderly resulting into increasing cardio-respiratory illnesses.........

Abstract: Investigations on the physicochemical properties and microbial load of Nworie River in Owerri Imo state, Nigeria was carried out between January and July, 2014. Water samples from 3 locations namely (Upstream Akwakuma), (Discharge pointFederal Medical Center) and (Downstream Holy Ghost College) were collected and taken to the laboratory for analysis.
