Abstract: Microalgae are renewable, sustainable, and economic sources of biofuels, bioactive medicines, and food
ingredients. Several microalgal species have been studied for their potential as value-added products with
remarkable pharmacological and biological properties. Oedogonium and Chlamydomonas are microalgae
belonging to the class Chlorophyceae. These microalgal species have rarely been studied. This project aims to
promote an important metabolite, cellulose. This accounts for 22% of the dry weight of Oedogonium and 20%
of the dry weight of Chlamydomonas. A low concentration of NaOH (1.75 %) and sodium hypochlorite (4.5 %)
enabled the recovery of relatively..........
