Abstract: The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of acupressure on stress and quality of life patients undergoing hemodialysis with End Stage Renal Disease. It is a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group pre-test – post-test design. A total of 100 samples were selected for the study using purposive sampling technique and they were assigned to two groups namely group I with 50 samples who received acupressure therapy for 20minutes per day for 2 times a week for 8 weeks and group II, the control group with 50 samples who received routine treatment of the dialysis unit. Outcome variables measured were stress and Quality of Life on 1st week before intervention, end of 4th week and at the end of 8th week after the intervention. Abstract: Cervical cancer is fourth most common cancer in world. It is also common cause of deaths in developing countries like India. Screening programs are the effective ways to reduce the incidence and mortality significantly for which awareness and sensitisation of women are required through community based approach. The Papanicolaou (Pap) smear test plays a vital role in the detection of cervical cancer even in its premalignant condition. The aim of this study was to compare the knowledge levels on PAP smear test among rural and urban area women's of Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. The study was conducted on 30 women's; in this 15 samples are from urban and 15 samples from rural area, selected by simple random sampling technique. The findings of the study was 12 (80%) of rural women's knowledge was below average and 10 (66.67%) urban women's knowledge was above average knowledge. Abstract: Health service covers all of services which provide assistance to the people to keep healthy. Health service is recognized as basic human rights by the Declaration of Universal Human Rights in 1948 and as signatory country, it has to implement and ensure for all citizens health rights. Bangladesh also signed in the said declaration and achieved little progress in health sector. As findings, it is found that absence of proper health policy and their programs and proper implementation, government cannot provide an effective health services. As a consequence, people cannot get appropriate health services from public health system, thus, health system in Bangladesh faces in many challenges. Abstract: Background Hydrocephalus is a medical condition characterized by an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricles of brain. Abstract: Using the cross-sectional description method to assess the current handwashing practice of 106 nurses in 7A Military Hospital with 84% being Intermediate level, 5.6% College, 10.4% University showed that 48.1% of nurses wrongly listed the routine hand washing steps. 74.5% of surveyed nurses on regular hand washing knowledge reached average level; the rate of nurses with a positive attitude to regular hand-wash was 15.1%, and 0.9% of nurses was not positive with regular hand washing. The results of regular hand washing practice skills showed that 91.5% of nurses performed on average; none of them performed excellent handwashing skills. Abstract: Dysmenorrhea is a pain or pain in the pelvic area due to an increase in prostaglandin during menstruation. The pain that arises results in disrupted activities and can reduce the quality of life in every sufferer. Disruption of activity and decreased quality of life have an impact on mental decline, namely anxiety and confidence in completing work. Pilates movement forms the muscles of the waist, strengthens the back, exercises the muscles of the abdomen, lower back, around the pelvis, and buttocks. Pilates movement can supply oxygen to each organ so that the prostaglandin hormone can come out at the same time during menstruation and have an impact on reducing the onset of pain in the pelvis. Reduced pain or dysmenorrhea can control the mental as an effort to eliminate anxiety and increase self-confidence when doing activities. A person who is menstruating can do pilates exercise as a physical exercise to control mental anxiety and confidence to stay in good condition..

Abstract: Several studies reveal that, regardless of the type of profession or occupation that is being carried out, psychosocial risk factors impact health, being also detrimental to the productivity and competitiveness of the company (1). MethodologyThe present study is cross-sectional and correlational, with the objective of determining the prevalence of Psychosocial Risk Factors and their association with the general state of self-perceived health. 359 surveys were applied to workers of various professions and occupations of the economically active population (EAP) of Colombia, chosen at random. It is a non-representative sample. The instruments applied are; the scale of Psychosocial Factors at Work (2), and; Goldberg General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) abbreviated version of 30 items.
