Title | : | Learning Transfer through Rewards System |
Country | : | Nigeria |
Authors | : | Haruna Abdul |
Abstract: Nomination for training connotes that the nominee has some performance gaps that could be bridged through training, and having been trained, knowledge acquired should be transferred to work situation creditably. Training Needs Analysis, being the source of selection for training, makes transfer of learning a matter of course. Every member of the work group should know why the individual was sent on training, and expectations on his/her return to work environment. Many employees do not see their employer‟s business as "our‟ business, and so attach little seriousness to training and learning transfer. Where any seriousness is shown, it could not be far from personal benefits of the training recipient. For the employer, learning must be transferred, but it can only rely on employees to do so.

Title | : | Improving IT Outsourcing Value Creation With Emphasizing On Service Oriented Approach. |
Country | : | Iran |
Authors | : | Zahra Talamkhani || Vahhab Attar Olyaee |
Abstract: According to predicted trends, the size of IT outsourcing is grossly increasing, however, it is still far from organizations/business owners expectations. The value of a service is best measured in terms of the improvement in outcomes, this can be attributed to the service effects on the performance of business assets and is far from the defined success factors of IT outsourcing. So, this paper adopts a new service oriented approach based on ITIL framework and proposes some factors and guidelines to create value in IT outsourcing.

Abstract: The study sought to establish the acceptability of the financial perspective of the balanced scorecard as an ideal dimension for performance management in the public sector. Having a long journey of searching for ways of justifying posts, productivity and salary increments in the civil service, the balanced scorecard is becoming an attractive alternative due to its widespread use in some parastatals and private sector. On its four dimensions, namely financial, customer, learning and growth, and internal business processes, the financial perspective seems to be highly in demand but the needed emphasis lacking in the public service's past and present performance management models.
