Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence on employee performance in private sector a case of Kinyara sugar limited in Uganda. A stratified random sampling was used to sample 208 respondents who represented the total population of KSL with 95% confidence level and 5% margin of error. In regards to the effect of self-awareness on employee performance, the findings concluded that improved self-awareness of employees leads to improved employee's performance..........

Abstract: This study examines the teachers' organizational commitment levels in select Government Colleges of Chandigarh. The purpose of this study was to examine the organizational commitment levels among male and female teachers in Government Colleges. The organization commitment of teachers with respect to their qualification was also assessed. Only the perceptions of teachers on their commitment were examined. The "Organizational Commitment Questionnaire" by Allen and Meyer (1990) was used to gather data. Commitment scores were highest for normative commitment. No significant difference was observed between male and female teachers for their commitment levels. Also the commitment levels of teachers did not vary according to their qualification levels and years of service.

Abstract: Dholaikhal and Jinjira of Bangladesh once became iconic sites of Light Engineering Sector that had beaconed hopes of industrial revolution in the country. Bangladesh has maintained an envious annual GDP growth rate above six percent over the last two decades. Sustained growth of the economy needs development of manufacturing industry supported by strong Light Engineering sector. The institutions that contribute to the business ecosystem of the light engineering sector influence its performance. This study attempts to assess the preparedness of institutions to overcome challenges and capture opportunities of the sector. The institutions have been studied by case method. Findings show that the major institutions having diverse focus lack vision, resources and understanding of the requirement of the sector. An institution dedicated to the development of light engineering sector needs to be established to unleash potentials.............

Abstract: With a large population base and untapped market, insurance industry is having big opportunity in India for the domestic as well as foreign investors. Huge untapped population and low market penetration are the two main challenges of the Indian insurance industry. Selling insurance is an important, but challenging work. Marketing of life insurance product is critical and complex for various reasons that include time span, periodicity and potentiality of claims and higher brand switching costs affecting the buying behaviour. In the present scenario, insurance companies are facing problem of transiting from a perceived selling activity to a structured strategic marketing activity. The task of the insurance agent is to convert a suspect into prospect and prospect into LIC customers. The agents have faced various problems in their profession. This paper presents the problems faced by LIC agents while marketing insurance products.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to contribute to the understanding of how BSC is developed and applied in evaluating the performance banks in several dimensions. Using the concepts of Kaplan and Norton, and the data made available from the banks that were studied, a BSC was derived to measure the performance of the banks from 2010-2012. The analysis assisted the cause-effect relationships between the non-financial and the financial dimensions of the BSC.Both banks showed high performances in their financial perspectives as compared to the other individual perspectives of customers, internal business process, and learning and growth which is an indication of their reliance on that perspective..............

Abstract: This article describes some summaries of Tata Motors Corporation; it includes an historical background, company's profile, corporate strategy, marketing philosophy and a few relevant operations. Moreover, a time-series ARIMA statistical model (parameter' estimate: p-value<0.1) based on information from 2006 till 2016 is proposed to predict the annual international corporate revenue; this model predicts the international revenue as a "percentage "of its total corporate revenue; where the international revenue represents the profit outside India.

Abstract: Questionnaires were applied to the subjects via the face-to-face interview method. The universe of the research is composed of teachers working in Public Primary Schools affiliated to The Ministry of National Education operating in the Central Anatolia Region. 508 questionnaires were delivered to the teachers in this universe and 442 questionnaires were collected. The return rate of the questionnaire is 87%. 32 of the questionnaires were eliminated for various reasons and a total of 410 questionnaires were analyzed. After analyzing the significance and validity of the hypotheses, we have looked at the regression coefficients R which show the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables and R2 which show the change............
