Abstract: Training undoubtedly is a costly but necessary practice that can guarantee effectiveness and efficiency in operation of all incorporated and unincorporated entities. The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI) in Ghana saw the importance of training and has put in place modalities that can help exposed its employees to training activities of all kind. This study was set out to investigate the existence of training programmes and how training correlate with performance.
