Abstract: Exploring landscapes of education in local is a daunting task. The local communities have set out to research educational policies in their embeddedness in local economies, labour markets and individual life projects of young adults. The author analyses how a variety of local institutional, economic, and opportunity structures influences the educational policies targeting youth education and labour market trajectories. Our analyses provide answers to the following three research questions: First, to what extent are the objectives of educational policies influenced by the national skills formation.....
