Abstract: The study sought to find out appraisal of internal supervisory functions of principals in Public Secondary Schools in Abakaliki Education Zone of Ebonyi State. To achieve the purpose of the study, two (2) corresponding specific purposes guided the conduct of this study which is in line with the research questions and null hypotheses formulated for the study. A comprehensive related literature was reviewed not only to serve as a guide to the researcher but also to give insight into what has already been done by other researchers in the related areas of the study. Abstract: This study focused on school related variables and students academic performance in secondary schools in Abakaliki Education Zone of Ebonyi State. Two specific purpose were formulated to give guide to the study which was in line with the research questions and hypothesis. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. This study was conducted in Abakaliki Education zone, out of the three education zones in Ebonyi State. Abstract: This study examined school plant maintenance as a determinant for principal's effectiveness in the administration of secondary schools in Nigeria with its focus on Ebonyi State. The study is guided by three research questions and two null hypotheses. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised all the 223 public secondary school principals and 5,082 secondary school teachers in both urban and rural areas of the state. The sample consists of 100 principals, while 1,510 teachers were selected through disproportionate stratified sampling procedure. This gave a total of 1,610 respondents. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire designed by the researchers. It is a 15-item questionnaire constructed on a 4-point scale by the researchers. Abstract: The study investigated the extent principals exercise autonomy in the administration of secondary school in Ebonyi State. The study was guided by four research questions and one hypothesis. The researchers adopted a descriptive survey design. The population of the study was made up of 233 principals and 1,056 teachers, giving a total of 1279 people. The sample of the study comprised of 710 respondents (100 principals and 610 teachers) selected through disproportionate stratified simple random sampling technique. A 28-item structured questionnaire entitled principals exercise of autonomy in secondary school Administration (PEASSA) was designed by the researchers for use to collect data from respondents. Abstract: This study was to analyze the effects of using mobile virtual lab for students in practicum learning, especially those related to their metacognition- knowledge and regulation. The method used was qualitative research. To collect the data, three instruments were used—closed and opened questionnaires, observation sheet, and practicum worksheet. The data were obtained from 105 junior high school students from seven different schools in Semarang. The data obtained showed that the students' metacognitive knowledge worked well. Abstract: Provision of higher education to persons who are qualified is a priority to the success of the Government's overall development strategy. Academic achievement plays a key role in assuring quality education. Students who have difficulty in resolving academic stress as an intrapersonal conflict experienced while on campus may display a drop in their academic performance. Abstract: One of the main challenges facing secondary education sector in Kenya and other parts of the world today is low secondary school completion rates, which is an indicator of low internal efficiency. Despite the effort by the central government of Kenya to initiate Free Secondary Education (FSE) and implementation of the policy of 100% completion rates, secondary school are still experiencing low completion rates. The objective of this study was to investigate the Influence of school culture on Secondary School Completion Rates in Samburu East Sub-county, Kenya. Abstract: The study investigated the Influence of students' social classroom interactions on their learning Outcomes in English language in Ekiti State Senior Secondary schools, Nigeria. The study adopted the survey design. Multi-stage sampling technique was used in selecting the required number of respondents for the study. The population consisted of SS2 students in senior secondary schools in the state. A total sample of 137 students was used as study sample. Abstract: This study investigated the possession of linguistic politeness among upper primary school pupils in ten purposively selected private primary schools in one Nigerian town. The study involved one class each of primaries 4 and 5 pupils, from each of the ten purposively selected schools. Equal number of boys and girls were purposively selected from each class, among those whose parents permitted to take part in the study. The sample size was 100, consisting of boys and girls in equal proportion. The instrument used for data collection was a researcher constructed linguistic politeness test, having 14 items with YES or NO response.
