Abstract: A number of new triazolodiazepine derivatives starting from piperidin-4-ones via diazepam-5-ones were synthesiszed, with a view to test the novel compounds for biological activities. The structure of the synthesized compounds has been established by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, Mass and Elemental Analysis. The newly synthesized compounds were tested for their anti-inflammatory activity by Carrageenan Induced Paw Edema Method.
