ABSTRACT: A well-designed optical system for a gun scope [1] needed an optomechanical enclosure to accommodate all the optical and electronic components for its required functionality and use. For this purpose, a design process was initiated considering all the optical and mechanical performance requirements of the intended product, to formulate a mechanical housing. ABSTRACT: The binary mixes Di Methyl Carbonate (DMC) + Methyl Acetate (MA), + Ethyl Acetate (EA), and + Butyl Acetate (BA) were measured for ultrasonic velocity (U), density (ρ), and viscosity (η) at four different temperatures (303.15-318.15K) covering the whole composition range. ABSTRACT: Eigen value equations for surface plasmon modes excited at the dielectric-core/metallic-cladding interface of an absorbing optical fiber are derived using zeroth-order vector mode analysis. Propagation characteristics for TM modes are evaluated using perturbation analysis. The analysis will find applications in improving the performance of TE/TM polarizers and sensors.

ABSTRACT: Parkour is increasingly being recognised as a unique, non-traditional sport which requires practitioners to execute complex movements to overcome challenges. This research paper particularly looks at landings, such as precision landings, roll landings and kong vault landings among others, in parkour and analyses how the foundation of their execution lies in laws and principles derived from the field of Physics. The latter half of the paper also evaluates the physiological and psychological benefits of practising parkour specifically for the youth.

ABSTRACT: A three-layer optical fiber with dielectric-core, metal-cladding, and surrounded by a dielectric analyte layer is analyzed without considering linear polarization of the fields. Eigen value equations are derived for TM modes in cylindrical coordinates using Bessel's functions. Transmittance spectrum is generated for sensor applications and compared with literature.
