Abstract: Background: Dental treatment of patients with pain deriving from musculus masseter is a challenge for the dental prosthetist. Masticatory diseases have different etiological causes, among which a special emphasis is given to bruxism. Purpose: Presentation of dental treatment of patients with pain deriving from musculus masseter in diagnosed night bruxism. Material and Method: As material were examined 40 patients who were divided into two groups. The first group of 20 patients had diagnosed........

Abstract: Background: Breast carcinoma is the most common malignancy and the leading cause of cancer-associated mortality among women. The relationship between the multidrug resistance 1 (MDR1) C3435T polymorphism and breast cancer risk remains poorly defined. The current study aims to determine the MDR1 C3435T polymorphism frequency and the possible association with the clinicopathological parameters, P-glycoprotein (P-gp) protein expression, and breast cancer risk......

Abstract: Background: A penetrating corneal injury is characterized by a full-thickness breach of the cornea. If not managed appropriately, it can lead to severe consequences such as blindness, loss of the eye, or phthisis bulbi. Potential complications include iris tissue prolapse, crystalline lens opacity, vitreous prolapse, vitreous hemorrhage, retinal tears, and retinal detachment. Prompt surgical intervention is essential for enhancing visual outcomes and maintaining ocular integrity.......

Abstract: Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecological cancer in high-income countries and represents a significant portion of gynecological cancers in Morocco. This study, conducted at CHU Hassan II in Fès, analyzed 96 cases of endometrial cancer, focusing on the correlation between MRI findings and histology in detecting lymph node involvement. MRI revealed suspicious pelvic adenopathy in 22% of cases and suspicious para-aortic adenopathy in 5.2%. FIGO stages determined preoperatively via MRI were often overestimated compared to definitive histopathology. Although.......

Abstract: Introduction: Trismus was reported become effect side after hemimaxillectomy. Research report as many as 40% of patients experience trismus, and 10% experience severe trismus after operation tumor removal. This condition causes difficulty in the process of printing for rehabilitation prosthetics of patients who experience orofacial defects due to maxillary sinus tumor removal. Abstract: This study explores the comparative effectiveness of Modified Manual Therapy (MMT) and Conventional Physiotherapy (CP) in the treatment of lumbar-related conditions, which are prevalent causes of musculoskeletal disability worldwide. Using a structured quantitative approach, the study evaluates pain intensity (NPRS), claudication symptoms (NCQ), disability (ODQ), and neural flexibility (SLR) across 50 patients divided into two groups. The results reveal that MMT significantly outperforms CP across all metrics, with higher reductions in pain and disability and improved.......
