Abstract: This research studied the characterizations of activated carbon preparation from peel and bunch of banana by using the FT-IR spectroscopy and SEM (scanning electron microscopy). It was found that changed in surface morphology of activated carbon before and after activation, which showed well developed pore structure in activated carbon demonstrating corrosive effect of H3PO4 and studied on adsorption efficient of methyl orange dye on activated carbons.........
