Abstract: Nanotechnology has gained tremendous impetus in the synthesis and development of various metal nanoparticles. Chemical and physical methods have successfully produced pure, well-defined nanoparticles, but these techniques are expensive, energy consuming and potentially toxic to the environment. Therefore, there is a need for environmental friendly approaches for the production of nanoparticles.
