Abstract: This study investigates the production of biogas using two mini-biodigesters of 120 liters each, within a controlled laboratory environment. The research focuses on evaluating the biogas yield from four distinct feedstocks: sewage waste, pig waste, poultry waste, and homemade waste composed of watermelon and pineapple residues. Each feedstock was used individually and in various combinations to determine their effectiveness as substrates for biogas production. The experimental setup was designed to measure the average daily biogas production rates and methane content over a period of 14 days of maximum production. The results revealed that the average daily biogas production rates (in cubic meters) were as follows: 0.0329 for sewage waste (X1), 0.0372 for pig waste (X2), 0.0354 for poultry.......

Abstract: The nutritional composition and sensory characteristics of sorghum-based complementary food fortified with soybean, carrot and crayfish at different substitutional levels were evaluated using standard analytical procedures. The results revealed that moisture, ash, fat, fibre, protein and carbohydrate content values range from 7.73% to 13.07%, 1.84% to 4.66%, 39.48% to 44.02%, 0.02% to 2.01%, 13.59% to 24.51% and 16.31% to 27.44% respectively. The selected minerals showed that calcium, zinc, magnesium, manganese, and iron varied from 1.61 to 15.56mg/100g, 0.05 to 4.71mg/100g, 3.51 to 8.80mg/100g, 0.22 to 7.78mg/100g and 0.02 to 6.68mg/100g respectively........

Abstract: Background: The development of market gardening and particularly that of tomatoes is confronted with multiple problems among which there are nematodes of the genus Meloidogyne. The determination of these parasites is important to adopt a control strategy. The objective of this study is to identify Meloidogyne species associated with tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum L.) in the Bougouni region of Mali. Materials and Methods: Root sample collection took place at two sites in Bougouni region. The roots were thinned with bleach 1%. The females were fixed on roots bearing galls in good condition, by the sodium hypochlorite-acid fuchsin method. These females were subsequently dissected and identified using the perineal plates.........
