Abstract: This study aimed to determine the socio-economic status and needs of the retirees in Lucban, Quezon including previous work, gender, civil status, living arrangements, highest educational attainment and living arrangement. It also includes whether they are receiving monthly pension or not, and the estimated monthly pension they are receiving. It also identified the major needs of the senile retirees in Lucban, Quezon that will sustain their longevity. The descriptive method of research was used in this study. Abstract: Introduction: Breathing exercises are included as a standard mode of treatment for the geriatric age group. Stretching of pectoral muscles helps in elongation of muscle fibres and reduces the chest wall tightness. Aim of the study was to study the effects of pectoral stretching on functional capacity and quality of life in elderly individuals. Materials and Methods: A prospective experimental study of individuals aged between 60-75 years with 50 subjects in experimental and 50 in control group was conducted at a tertiary health care centre. The subjects in the experimental group received treatment in the form of stretching of pectoral muscles and breathing exercises thrice a week for a total duration of 6 weeks. Abstract: Adolescence comes from the Latin word meaning ''to come to maturity'' it is a period of transition between childhood and adulthood. It is a crucial and dynamic time. A descriptive study was conducted on 60 adolescent girls, in selected schools of Doraha and Kaddon, Distt. Ludhiana, Punjab. Systematic sampling technique was used to select the study sample. Data were collected by using socio demographic profile sheet and Rating scale. The present study revealed that out of 60 adolescent girls, majority (51.6%) of students had moderate level of psychosocial stress, (33.3%) students had mild level of psychosocial stress and (15%) of students had high level of psychosocial stress. Methods: A descriptive design is carried out onapurposive "non-probability" sample of (240) menopausal women, who are attending the primary health care centers at Al-Russafa District in Baghdad City, for the period from September 18th, 2016 to June 28th, 2017. Abstract: The incidence of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) is 2.8%Worldwide, causing a significant global burden of morbidity and mortality. According to a nationally representative survey carried out in 2008, Egypt has the highest HCV prevalence in the world; with 14.7% prevalence among the 15–59 yearsage group. This study aims at assessing quality of life for patients with HCVviruses undergoing new modalities. A descriptive exploratory research design was utilized in the study. Abstract: In Intramuscular (IM) injection, the drug is delivered to the deep muscle tissue and IM injection has a place in parenteral drug administration. In recent nursing literature, IM injection to the Ventrogluteal (VG) site has been recommended because it is less painful, it is far from bony projections, there are no nerves or blood vessels in the site and the possibility of delivering the drug to subcutaneous tissue is low and there is sufficient muscular tissue, making it a site which is easy to locate. Abstract: This paper explores the anthropometric profile (height, weight, body mass index, body fat percentage, waist hip ratio, waist circumference and visceral fat) and dietary habits among female university students of college of Applied medical Sciences. Data collected from (N=162) girl students in 2016. We found that 34.5 % of students had high body fat percent and 26.2 % had very high body fat percent which revealed that WC is a good indicator of abdominal obesity. 16.7 % of students never ate meat and there was significant positive correlation between frequency of eating meat and BMI. There is significant positive correlation between body fat and a body mass index, visceral fat level, waist circumference, hip circumference and WHR. Abstract: Present study was conducted to determine the effect of dietary pattern on nutritional status of prisoner. 104 prisoners were selected purposively from 'Tangail' prison in Bangladesh. The study found that most of the prisoners are male (89.43%) and majority (54.8%) belongs to 20 to 30 age group. Nearly half of them quit their study before secondary school. Their daily meal pattern was breakfast (bread and jiggery), lunch (rice, pulse and vegetables) and dinner (rice, meat/fish/egg, pulse). Total kcal provided was about 1356 kcal (under trial) and 1425 kcal (trial) which was not sufficient to fulfill their daily calorie demand. Abstract: The delivery by cesarean section is often associated with non-initiation or delayed initiation of breastfeeding, or discontinuation of the process. The aim of this study was to identify the factors influencing breastfeeding practice among women after cesarean section delivery. This cross-sectional analytic study was carried out at the Obstetrics and Genecology Department in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital at Minia University on 224 women delivered by cesarean section in the setting.
