Abstract: Background: Condyloma acuminata (CA) is a sexually transmitted infection caused by several strains of Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The prevalence of CA worldwide is around 10-20% with the incidence continuing to increase. CA generally occurs in individuals infected with the Human Immunodefficiency Virus (HIV) and sexually active populations who are at high risk, such as men having sex with men. Abstract: Our study combines a systematic review with a detailed case report to provide a comprehensive overview of Mycotic Aneurysms in the context of Infective Endocarditis. Mycotic Aneurysms, though infrequent (2%-4% incidence), are most commonly associated with Streptococcus viridans and Staphylococcus aureus in cases of acute infective endocarditis. Abstract: Background: There is limited data on the extent to which community pharmacists clearly understand the recently introduced Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) online pharmacy regulations. The study evaluated the knowledge and perceptions of online pharmacy regulations and services amongst community pharmacists in two Nigerian States.
Methods: The cross-sectional study (February 2022 to April 2022) employed a questionnaire-based research design. Abstract: Anthropogenic pressures can compromise the environmental balance. Thus, the study aims to characterize the dynamics of land use changes in relation to anthropogenic pressures in north-central Côte d'Ivoire. The methodological approach adopted is based on a diachronic analysis of land use units. Landsat MSS 1989, TM 1998, ETM+ 2009 and OLI 2020 images were acquired from the research environment and interpreted to obtain land cover maps. The results show the classes dense dry forest_ gallery forest, open forest_ treed savannah, treed savannah_ shrub savannah, perennial crops, fallow and bare ground_ annual crops_locations and water body.
