Abstract: Today, unemployment is up, jobs are scarce, and layoffs have become common across the organizations. Engineering education is a process of developing techno human resources, which are to be used later as input to industry which in turn produces goods and services for the societal use. Having considered the current situation of the engineering educational system and the quality of all its individual components it can be noticed that the awareness of the importance of education as a foundation for the growth and development of the country, such as India, is not strong enough. Engineering graduates passing out from educational institutions have to fulfil modern and high standard requirements that are needed by industry. In today's arena the most common word we come across is recession. Recession leads to a decreased demand for goods and services, which in turn leads to a decrease in production, lay-offs and rise in unemployment.

Abstract: The study examined the effect of Management Development on Organizational Resilience in the Nigerian manufacturing industry. A total of 140 employees were randomly drawn from employees of the 31 manufacturing companies in Port Harcourt. The instruments used for data collection were questionnaire and oral interview. A total of 93 copies of the questionnaire were retrieved and analyzed. Spearman's Rank Correlation Statistical tool was used to test the hypotheses. The findings revealed that Management Development is significantly related to Organizational Resilience. Based on these findings we concluded that Management Development has significant influence on Organizational Resilience. The study therefore recommends that organizations should use its management development programmes as a knowledge retention measure that will strategically channel efforts in a way that will drive organizational success.

Abstract: Price forecasting is an integral part of economic decision making. Forecasts may be used in numerous ways; specifically, individuals may use forecasts to try to earn income from speculative activities, to determine optimal government policies or to make business decisions. The importance of this topic is caused by instability in the world economy and stock markets; there is a growing interest in gold from investors and the current bull market of gold. It is believed that gold can be used to predict, to some degree, the stock market trend. However, the current forecasting algorithm offers poor precision in solutions for non-linear problems. In India, gold is one of the foundation assets for Indian households in the form of investment. It is viewed as secure and liquid investment. In this paper, a forecasting model for gold price using Multiple fuzzy linear regression using shape preserving operations were proposed with an extended objective function .

Abstract: The prevalence of dissatisfaction among health sector professionals is well documented in literature and leads to reduction in provision of quality care. The job performance in the health sector is largely dependent on the satisfaction level of the people involved. In Nigeria, the public health sector has been well established and settled to some level- remuneration wise, while the private health sector, especially private hospitals and clinics, are having quite some challenge in coping with benefits available in the public sectors. The objective of this study was to determine how benefits affect job satisfaction and performance among staff in the private medical establishments in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The study examined relevant literature in the area and concluded that the benefits and remuneration in the private medical sector in Port Harcourt, Nigeria is poor and the level of job satisfaction is also low leading to low job performance. The study therefore recommends that there is need for improvement through advocacy and government regulations.

Abstract: The study was conducted to explore the extent of human resource management (HRM) usually practiced by five prominent commercial Banks of Bangladesh. The survey activities were done by the combination of structured questionnaire, unstructured interview and observation methods in order to examine the issues involved in employee selection and recruitment, salaries and wages, job analysis methods, performance evaluation, audit promotion scheme, Training & Development programs. In this paper a five point likert scale is used to measure major problems of HRM in commercial Bank and also record the employees' opinion on eight indicators to measure their levels of job satisfactions.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to get an insight into the prevailing conditions of primary schools in Libya. Ayers (2010) has confirmed that there remains a gap in the current literature regarding specific attitudinal behaviours influencing organizational commitment across various levels of education. The educational sector in Libya today is in dire need of a revamp. This study aims to take an in-depth look into the obstacles that has resulted in a serious lack of commitment among teachers in Libyan schools.

Abstract: The corporate ethics and corporate governance depend on various aspects in the functions of management. Thus the apt application of the theories of ethics and corporate governance paves the way for the success of a concern. Thus the success of an organization is vested with the hands of customers. They are not aware of the unethical practices within the organization. A good concern should be aware of business ethics which are necessary for economic growth. If there is a perfect corporate governance in an organization, it is considered that there exists maximum utilization of available men, material and money. Only through the implementation of business ethics successfully, the goodwill is achieved by the concern.

Abstract: This research study intends to examine the impact of financial literacy, accounting information, openness to experience and information asymmetry on individual investors' decision making through the empirical research of the people living in Karachi city. Any investment is made with the primary objective of earning return on the invested sum. And depending on the degree of risk any individual can be classified as either RISK TAKER or RISK AVERTER. Duration of an investment is another aspect for any investment decision. Short term investments are rather riskier than long term investments in securities.
