Abstract: Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria, the economic landscape has witnessed a downturn, with numerous businesses either closing indefinitely or grappling to survive amidst the pandemic's repercussions. This study seeks to evaluate the performance of both manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors in the post-COVID-19 period. Utilizing data from three survey periods (June 2020, June 2021, and June 2023) and encompassing 1050 firms across the 36 states and FCT, comprising 350 manufacturing and 700 non-manufacturing entities, the research employs the impact analysis approach with the difference-in-difference (DID) technique. Results indicate that both sectors experienced a decline in the post-COVID-19.....

Abstract: Context: Outsourcing has become more prevalent in economies over the last few years and has been largely responsible for generating employment, income, and improving the performance of public services. Brazilian public administration, by adopting outsourcing as a management model, aims to achieve efficiency and reduce public spending. However, positive and negative aspects are observed in adoption, management, and supervision at all stages of the outsourcing process. The study sought to advance new discussions about contract management in the public sector, especially in the current context in which Brazilian society observes and discusses ethical deviations and corruption in public management, guided by the question: how does

Abstract: The aim of this article is to analyze the perception of control and investigation agents about the use of artificial intelligence tools in their activities. This is because the processing of an extensive and complex amount of information related to public procurement processes by control and investigation bodies lacks tools that can enhance the work carried out by the agents involved in the analysis. In this sense, the presence of automated tools and artificial intelligence provides robustness and agility to the processing of existing data. A qualitative methodology was adopted using questionnaires. The main results show that, despite the importance and knowledge of users about the existence of these tools, the majority do not use them or do not know their functionalities, showing that the use of these tools in control and investigation activities is still in its infancy and that institutions still do not offer/use them adequately for their agents.

Abstract: The objective of this research is to understand the relationship between educational quality indicators and the financial gains of Brazilian educational groups listed in [B]3. Currently, the educational groups operating on the stock exchange are Ânima Education, Cogna Education, Yduqs, Bahema Educação, Ser Educacional and Cruzeiro do Sul. To achieve this objective, a quantitative methodology was used, first a systematic review was carried out in order to search the scientific literature for the relevance of the topic and its scope. A table was created with financial data and the quality of teaching of the educational groups, as well as data on the economic situation, in order to perform a correlation and regression. From the analysis of correlations and regressions carried out, the research result showed a negative relationship between financial gains and teaching quality, that is.
