Abstract: This study investigates the effectiveness of blended learning in English reading comprehension for grade 7 students at a secondary school and the students' attitudes towards the blended learning (BL). More explicitly, the researcher attempted to carry out her intervention throughout two cyclical processes of action research and targeted at examining 1) the effectiveness of blended learning in enhance the students’ learning reading comprehension and 2) the students’ attitudes towards the application of online learning applications in improving English reading comprehension. The data were collected from pre-test and post- tests and a questionnaire delivered to the participants. It was concluded that the application of blended learning benefited the majority of students and their reading comprehension. Students’ results on reading comprehension can improve during the process of applying BL.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the synectic learning model of poetry writing on the ability of historical imagination and creativity of students. This research was motivated by the lack of observation of history lessons by students. History lessons are considered boring lessons because they seem to tend to memorize. In fact, most students assume that history lessons do not bring benefits for the future because the study is the past. Abstract: The purpose of this research was to examine existing relationship between coping strategies and academic achievement of form two students in Nyandarua County public schools, Kenya. The research was guided by Expectancy-Value theory and Stage-Environment Fit theory. Convergent mixed methods research design was adopted, using predictive correlation. The target population consisted of 16,813 form two learners in 173 public high schools in Nyandarua County. Abstract: Education is essential for a society's advancement and growth. The more educated the population of the citizens, the more civilized and disciplined the society will be. Stakeholders and policymakers are becoming increasingly concerned about Liberian students' poor academic performance on the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The study's primary purpose is to explore and analyze the factors that contribute to student's poor academic performance in Liberia's WASSCE with a focus on the Paynesville School District, Montserrado County.
