Abstract: This study conducted an Item Response Theory Analysis of Academic Amotivation Inventory (AAI) using a Graded Response Model, which is a unidimensional IRT analysis, on AAI and on each of its subscales. It determined the item and category difficulty of AAI and investigated the discrimination properties of its individual item on a sample of 1000 secondary school students in Southwestern Nigeria. The results revealed that all the items had high location parameters indicating that few examinees endorsed positive functioning on the scale and all the items had slope parameters..........

Abstract: The need to access higher education in Kenya is increasing especially with the introduction of free primary education in the norm of Education for All. Higher education in developing countries, however, is faced with a myriad of challenges such as lack of accessibility and affordability given the limited government funding. Responsively, some countries have adopted the cost sharing mechanisms in terms of subsidized tuition fees, food, grants and provision of student loans to expand the quality of higher education. The discussions in this paper are anchored on a study that sought...............

Abstract: Graduates with the National Diplomas in Agriculture have experienced a shortage of employment opportunities in both public and private sectors. This has resulted in a need for such graduates to look into alternatives in terms of utilising their qualifications elsewhere. Most of the current students and graduates chose agriculture because of the love of it, while some chose agriculture because it was one of the careers they could just explore after matriculating. With dwindling opportunities in terms of formal employment the next best alternative was entrepreneurial agriculture...........
