Abstract: This study was an endeavor to investigate the effects of the use of unfamiliar/foreign languages as mediums of instruction (English and Shona), to teach Tsonga (Shangani) speaking children in Chiredzi south district of Zimbabwe. Because of the nature of the study, quantitative methods were adopted to study the performance of the Tsonga (Shangani) language speaking learners in five purposively sampled schools. Two hundred and twenty two (222) learners participated in the study. The main aim of the researcher was to find out whether teaching learners in a foreign or unfamiliar language was a bridge or barrier to learning. In this case, the research did not only look at the effect.........

Abstract: The study investigated the effects of computer assisted instruction on students' achievement and retention in Niger State. Three research questions and three hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The design adopted for the study was a quazi experimental one. Two hundred (200) students from four selected schools within the two educational zones were used as research sample. The sample schools were purposively selected. The experimental group was exposed to computer assisted instruction package in Nupe language while the control group was taught same topics with conventional method. Secondary school mathematics achievement test (SSMAT), the test contained..............

Abstract: Book one of teaching resources is commonly used in the learning process. The development of Information and Technology, presents the book as an e-book. This research Aimed to produce an interactive e-book of physics. Based on the assessment of characteristics of Senior High School physics lesson and related references of rigid body equilibrium and dynamics of rotation, had been found requiring additional visualization concepts several Compared to common pictures. Moreover, the e-book's pictures display accompanied by relevant definitions did not make the students understand the concepteasily. The multimedia integration, for instance, audio, video and animation............

Abstract: Worldwide, tutoring is increasingly being developed, and students are using it to improve their academic success. Some of them use private tutoring, and others use websites. In this study, we question the perception of Moroccan pupils of the secondary education (private educational institutions and public-school system) concerning private tutoring, their reasons for using it and the number of weekly hours dedicated to tutoring. We are also interested in their use of the Internet for tutoring, and we collect the students' preferences about the desired form of tutoring. We publish in this study, achieved in 2016, the results obtained from the exploitation of the answers of the pupils to a questionnaire, as well as their interpretation.

Abstract: Female education especially at primary levels is increasingly being realized to provide immense social and economic benefits for the developing countries. However, participation of girls in education is more often constrained in some countries. As a result, gender gap persists in education despite the research evidence that girl's formal education is the key determinant of women's involvement in development for the above nations. In Kenya the government is committed to providing education to all its citizens. In spite of commitment girl's low participation in primary education remain unresolved in some parts of the country. Therefore the concern of this study was to investigate the constraints facing girl-child education in Mochongoi Division of Baringo District. To this end, research questions were developed to gender relevant socio-cultural norms and practices, parental perceptions on girl's..........

Abstract: Iodine is an element nonmetal and essential micronutrient needed by human body in a trace amount, iodine deficiency may cause brain damage, mental retardation, cretinism and endemic goiter (GAKI). Analysis method of detecting iodine has widely been used, where iodometry and spectrophotometry analysis is a standard method to determine iodine content. The analytical performance of iodine determination with a sensitive and selective flow injection analysis had been developed and evaluated. Iodate reacted with the excessive iodide in an acid medium to form tri-iodide, which can be detected with spectrophotometer at 352 nm...........

Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of guided inquiry learning model to student's learning outcomes based on preknowlledge. This type of research is quasi experiment. The independent variables in this research are guided inquiry model and the dependent variable is the learning outcomes, and the moderator variable is the preknowledge. The research was conducted in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Aikmel East Lombok. Subjects of 119 subjects obtained through purposive sampling technique. The subjects of the study were divided into two groups: groups and control groups. Instrument data used in the form of test results of learning in the form of multiple choice. Data were analyzed using Anacova test at 5% significance level. The result of data analysis shows that there is no significant influence learnig model to student learning outcomes, but there is an interaction effect between the guided inquiry learning model with the preknowlwdge to the stident' learning outcomes..

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of self – instruction strategy in improving word recognition skills for Students with Learning Disabilities (SLD) at Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The sample of the study consisted of (14) SLD; it was divided randomly into two equal groups: control and experimental. The students in the experimental group have studied the word recognition skills by self – instruction strategy; however, the students in the control group were received their teaching by the conventional method. The word recognition skills test was applied for two groups as pre-test and post-test. Results showed the effectiveness of self – instruction strategy in improving word recognition skills for SLD in favor of the students in the experimental group.
