Abstract : The application of Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods in selecting the best locations for siting mines is appropriate and necessary given the many diverse and conflicting criteria that may have to be considered if the mining is done responsibly and equitably. In Ghana, where gold mining has assumed alarming scales, the need to balance social, economic, and environmental factors has become ever more crucial. A comparative assessment of three MCDM techniques to gold mining site selection in Ghana is presented in this article to evaluate how they perform.......

Abstract :This study explores the application of the Fractional Finite Difference Method (FFDM) in solving the Time-Fractional Korteweg-de Vries Burgers (TFKdVB) equation.
