Title | : | Constructing of Phylogenetic Tree for Cortex based on DNA sequences |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Dr.A.Rama Mohan Reddy || Chukka Santhaiah |
Abstract:The Phylogenetic expansion of genus is frequently described as the result of arbitrary transformations and predictable choice, which provides the awareness of phylogenetic trees. The large number of elevated superiority sequence data available has wrecked the reconstruction of phylogenetic trees as of sequence data achievable. In this work Cortex gene sequences are taken from NCBI as it's with accession number. The ClustalW loom is an important and trendy substitute for create phylogenetic trees based on sequence data, which can be constructed. The aim of work is to find the closeness of sequences and accelerate tree rebuilding by construction use of preceding information....

Title | : | Ultra Structural Alternations in Spermatozoa of Leiognathus equulus (Perciformes) from AL-Shabab Lagoon, in Jeddah Province |
Country | : | Saudi Arabia |
Authors | : | Moharram, S. G. || Rabah, S.O |
Abstract: The common ponyfish Leiognathus equulus was caught from the Red Sea and Al-Shabab lagoon. This study was carried out to investigate the ultra-structural alternations in L. equulus spermatozoa induced by the polluted water of Al-Shabab lagoon. The spermatozoa was of type I, which is typical of species of external fertilization. It appears that each spermatozoon possesses kidney shaped head, mitochondria and underdeveloped middle piece. However, fish caught from Al-shabab lagoon shows variable deformations in sperm including changes in head morphology, malformed mid piece, fusion of head sperm.

Abstract: The indiscriminate use of whole plant or their parts to treat various diseases and to make coffee like concoction by local communities in Kenya could pose a serious threat to health. This is because one cannot assure that these plants are medicinally important and possess caffeine. Although some plants have been reported to contain valuable phytochemicals which are of medicinal value, no work has been done to compare phytochemicals and caffeine content in Acacia nilotica ssp....

Authors | : | Owonaro A. Peter and Eniojukan F. Joshua |
Abstract: Pain, a ubiquitous symptom in the clinics, requires the use of analgesics to manage. Analgesics have been reported to be very widely used and abused set of drugs globally. This study was aimed at evaluating the patterns and other contextual correlates of use of pain killersamong Niger Delta University Students. This was a descriptive cross-sectional study. Questionnaires were administered randomly to 270 consenting students, after carefully explaining the objectives of the study. 56.3% of respondents were females; majority (68.9%) was aged 21-30 years;the prevalence of use of pain killers was 78.2% and self-medication rate was high at 67.63% among 21-30 year-olds; paracetamol......

Abstract: Fishes reared in aquarium or in other containers show gradual loss of pigmentation. This is due to the lack of specific pigments molecules. T.fasciata loss their pigmements from 7 days onwards and become dull after 3rd weeks.Synthetic carotenoids such as beta-carotene and lutein has been added along with fish feed, fish meal (30): rice bran (35): mustard oil cake (35) . The carotenoids added feeds are administered and the fish regain colouration from 2nd week.As the use of synthetic carotenoids are very costly for entrepreneurs and farmers, hence.......

Abstract: The paper looked into pathogenesis which is complex and the cause of death is still somewhat obscure. Damage to the tissues is brought about through the metabolic activities of the trypanosomes, more certainly through the repeated insults offered by the emergence of successive trypanosome variants and the attempts made to suppress them by the hosts' defence mechanisms, It was suggested that so much glucose was consumed that the hosts .......

Abstract: Tablet dosage form constitutes a major portion of the drug delivery systems that are currently available. These are usually prepared with the aid of suitable pharmaceutical excipients. They may vary in appearance, size, shape, weight, hardness, thickness, disintegration and dissolution characteristics and in other aspects depending on their intended use and method of manufacturing. Tablets are manufactured primarily by either granulation or direct compression. The latter involves the compression of a dry blend of powders that comprises drugs and various excipients. .......

Abstract: There is no cure for HIV, but there are treatments to enable most people with the virus to live a long and healthy life. AIDS is the final stage of HIV infection, when your body can no longer fight life-threatening infections. With early diagnosis and effective treatment, most people with HIV will not go on to develop AIDS. present study shows, In low resource settings, fixed-dose combinations of nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) such as Tenofovir and Lamivudine; and non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs) such as Efavirenz, are commonly used as Antiretroviral therapy for HIV-infected patients in order to increase adherence to lifelong treatment........
