Title | : | Parallel Test Scheduling of 3D Stacked SoCs with Temperature and Time Constraints |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Indira Rawat || M.K. Gupta || Virendra Singh |
ABSTRACT: Today's VLSI circuits are very compact and complex designs. As the advancements made are very fast with cut throat competitions from various manufacturers, they are likely to have more defects and faults. This requires a proper testing process to be adopted for all products. Testing is a process which has to be done on all pieces of products. At the same time it requires a low cost, highly efficient method to be adopted. Fault coverage should also be maximized for ensuring fast and efficient work. The technology is also undergoing fast transitions. System on Chip is a design paradigm which involves integration of entire system onto a single chip.

Title | : | Vibrometer to Detect the Occlusal Force on Teeth Using Image Processing |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Manish Karandikar || Dr. Abhay Kolte || Dr. Tushar Shrirao |
ABSTRACT: It is seen that there is decrease in the density of jawbone and the bone around the teeth over the years. As a result it creates the occlusal force on teeth. When the occlusal force exceeds the adaptive capacity of the tissues and tissues injury then it resultant injury is termed as trauma from occlusion. There is no such device to check the occlusal force on teeth. The doctors check this force by keeping their index finger on junction of the teeth and gums of the patient. However, the measurement results are not satisfied. From this observation it is eminent that there is a need of a device that can measure the vibrations of teeth as vibrations cannot be measured accurately with the help of a finger. To measure the force or vibrations there are vibration sensors available in the market.

Title | : | An Analytical Router Model for Networks-On-Chip |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Mrs. Shilpa Kodgire || Dr. Ulhas Shiurkar |
ABSTRACT: The proposed system is based on analytical model of Router and queueing theory. This approach not only provides aggregate performance metrics such as average latency and throughput, but also feedback about the network characteristics such as buffer utilization, average latency per router and per flow at a fine-level of granularity. The proposed analytical model can predict the average packet latency faster than an accurate simulation

Title | : | Keyword Spotting: An Audio Mining Technique in Speech Processing – A Survey |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Dr. E. Chandra || K.A.Senthildevi |
ABSTRACT: Audio mining is a branch of data mining that is used to search and analyze the contents of audio signal automatically. Keyword spotting (KWS) is an important audio mining technique which searches audio signals for finding the occurrences of given keyword within the input spoken utterance. KWS provides a satisfactory audio mining solution for various tasks like spoken document indexing and retrieval. The research in audio mining has received increasing attention due to the increase in amount of audio content in the Internet, telephone call conversation and other sources.

ABSTRACT: Rheumatoid joint inflammation is characterized as a perpetual incendiary issue which influences the joints by hurting body tissues. Therefore, there is an urgent need for an effective intelligent identification system for Rheumatoid arthritis especially in its early stages. This paper is to develop a new intelligent system for the identification and prediction of Rheumatoid Arthritis of the joints utilizing thermal image processing techniques and neural network. The system have some principle stages. first we load a thermal image and then select a region of hand or affected area using matlab image processing.

ABSTRACT: Full adder plays a major role in various fields like Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits(VLSI),Digital Signal Processing(DSP),Microprocessors(MP) for Arithmetic Operations as additions are the basic functions. There are many topologies with unique characteristics. Power dissipation, Delay and Area are the key parameters suggested for characterization of logics. In this paper, a thorough analysis of these parameters described topologies is analyzed. A comparative study reveals and suggests different logics pertaining to different profile considerations.

Title | : | A Novel Power Converter Design for Smart Grid |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Sandhya Save || Kshama Mishra |
ABSTRACT: The Smart Grids for power distribution has increased significantly over the years. Smart grid requires sensors, automatic switches and communication devices etc. for two way communication. These devices require power source for its working. But, as the lifetime of batteries is limited, powering these devices has become main concern of Smart Grids. This paper discusses the benefits of using Energy Harvesting System (EHS) and Power Converters to power the sensors on Smart Grid. It also covers the improvement in efficiency and performance of the Smart Grid by using EHS and Power Converters. Usage of EHS significantly reduces the dependency on batteries and manual involvement and also helps in increasing the robustness. In this paper, a Power Converter design is proposed which boosts the performance of the Smart Grid and reduces dependency on conventional sources of energy.
