Abstract: Background: The impacts on employment in the current pandemic crisis are central to changes in the levels of the Brazilian economy and, consequently, in family income. Among the affected Brazilian regions, the Northeast region has the second highest rate of infections in the country, second only to the Southeast region. As it is the second region most affected by the pandemic in the country, it will likely suffer from the economic impacts. Considering the relevance of the topic, this study aims to understand the behavior of jobs in the Northeast region of Brazil during the COVID-19 crisis. Abstract: The aims of the research, are (1) to analyse the effect of competence on career paths and job satisfaction (2) to analyse the effect of commitment on career paths and job satisfaction (3) to analyse the influence of career paths on job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach using primary data through a questionnaire of 140 respondents. The research was conducted from August to November 2021. Data were analysed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of Amos Version 25. And SPSS Version 25. The results of this study show that: (1) Competence and Commitment have a positive and significant effect on career paths. (2) Career path has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (3) Competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (4) Commitment has a positive and insignificant effect on job satisfaction. (5) Competence and commitment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction through career paths.

Abstract: Warships ate being built indigenously for the Indian Navy to protect the maritime interests of the nation. Building of Aircraft Carrier Vikrant at Cochin Shipyard Ltd, commissioned by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Country recently, has catapulted India amongst a very few nations in the world, holding the technology and capability to build Aircraft Carriers, a feat unthinkable and unimaginable a couple of decades back, leading the Country into Atma Nirbhar Bharat in Design and construction of warships for the Indian Navy. MSMEs are the backbone of Indian Economy contributing significantly to the GDP of the Nation. The potential and the capability needs to be tapped to the hilt to achieve Atma Nirbhar Bharat dispensing with the imported equipment and systems. Abstract: The cost of implementing an effective waste management system is often a topic of discussion, particularly in developing countries. This study aims to compare the cost of an effective waste management system with its adverse effects on public health in Jalgaon City, India. The research methodology included a review of relevant literature and primary data collection through surveys and interviews with stakeholders in the waste management sector. The findings of the study highlight the importance of implementing an effective waste management system to reduce the adverse effects on public health caused by improper waste disposal. The cost of implementing such a system is significant but is outweighed by the benefits it brings to public health and the environment.
