Abstract: Urine cytology is a safe and inexpensive method to diagnose urinary tract abnormalities. It can also be used to detect urothelial carcinoma.[1] It is recommended by the American Urology Association that voided urine cytology should be carried out in all patients with asymptomatic haematuria who belong to higher risk group and should be considered as first line option in patients who belong to low risk group.[2] It is used in conjunction with cystoscopy and biopsy as standard for initial evaluation of patients suspected to be having bladder cancer.[3......

Abstract: Background The aim of the retrospective study is to compare effectiveness, safety of oral misoprostol and Foley's catheter for labour induction with misoprostol. The efficacy is measured by induction to delivery interval, the total number of normal vaginal spontaneous delivery within 24 hours without any complications. The two methods of induction were compared. As there is no ideal method of induction of labour, several methods and a combination method with Foley's catheter and......

Abstract: Cellulitis is a bacterial skin infection characterized by erythema, warmth, swelling, and tenderness, typically affecting the lower extremities. This infection can advance swiftly and, if not addressed, may result in severe complications like abscesses, sepsis, and necrotizing fasciitis. Worldwide, cellulitis contributes significantly to emergency department visits, with over 2.9 million cases reported annually in the United States alone. In the UK, around 317,522 cases were identified in hospitals during the 2017-18 period, with an even greater number likely treated.......

Abstract: Background: The Burning Month Syndrome (BMS) is an oral mucosa pain - with or without inflammatory signs - without any specific lesion. Burning mouth syndrome (BMS) is multifactorial in origin which is typically characterized by burning and painful sensation in an oral cavity. The cause of BMS is not known, therefore a complex association of biological, psychological and neurophatic factors has been identified. BMS is classified as an idiopathic (nociplastic) orofacial pain with or without somatosensory changes by International Classification of Orofacial.......

Abstract: Introduction: Assessment of severity and site of care decisions for community-acquired pneumonia patients (CAP) are very important for patients' safety and optimal use of resources. Late admission to the intensive care unit (ICU) leads to increase the rate of mortality in CAP. We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the new expanded CURB-65 score in comparison with......
