Abstract: Background: Second-trimester abortion contributes significantly to maternal morbidity and mortality, especially in places where access to safe second-trimester abortion is limited. Abstract: Periapical lesions in pediatric patients often require careful management to preserve tooth vitality and promote healing. This case report discusses a nonsurgical clinical approach to managing a periapical lesion in an 11-year-old patient using a calcium hydroxide-based paste known for its bioactivity and biocompatibility. The patient presented with a necrotic tooth and associated periapical radiolucency. Following diagnosis, a conservative treatment plan was implemented, involving debridement of the canal system and the application of Metapex as an intracanal medicament. Clinical and radiographic evaluations were conducted over a six-month period to assess healing and periapical regeneration.

Abstract: Teratomas are tumours of embryonic origin, most commonly found in the sacrum and coccyx. Localisation in the neck is rare, occurring in only 3% of cases, with a high mortality rate of up to 80% in the neonatal period as a result of airway obstruction. Immaturity is not a sign of malignancy when the tumour is managed during the neonatal period. We will report a case of a patient diagnosed and treated in the otorhinolaryngology surgery department of the Hassan II military hospital in LAAYOUNE, highlighting the fact that there is still a lack of antenatal screening, despite improvements in the management of newborns.
