Abstract: This paper deals with the analysis of diagnostic test items made by the researcher in English Language Skills at secondary level. English Language Skills include items related to Writing Skill, Reading Skill and Grammar. This analysis involves difficulty value and index of discrimination. The test consists of multiple choice questions to collect the data. Three hundred seventy students of secondary schools of CBSE and UP Board were selected randomly for the sample. The sample includes both male and female students of secondary schools. The finding shows that 54 items, out of 86, were selected, after item analysis............

Abstract: Aims: The present study was carried out to evaluate the relationship between the grades of pre-clinical and clinical courses of endodontics, fixed prosthodontics and restorative dentistry achieved by dental students entering Tabriz Faculty of Dentistry in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Materials and methods: The subjects in this retrospective cross-sectional study consisted of dental students entering Tabriz Faculty of Dentistry in 2009, 2010 and 2011 (n=48 students each year). The grades of the students in restorative dentistry, fixed prosthodontists, endodontics I (pre-clinic) and endodontics II (clinic) courses were recorded by referring to the Archives of the Education Office of the Faculty. The means and standard deviations of the grades were calculated. T-test was used to compare the means and standard deviations with SPSS. Statistical significance was set at P<0.05..........

Abstract: This study aims to describe the influence the effectiveness of the Rural Urban Geography teaching materials have been developed. This study was designed with a quasi-experimental research. Location of the research in universities at Malang District, East Java. Learning outcomes is measured by pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed using Analysis gain score and the percentage of student results. The results showed that the learning outcomes in the experimental class (class taught using instructional materials research product) indicates the value of gain score 12:46. While the control classes (classes that are taught with no use teaching materials research product) indicates the value of gain score 12:25..........

With the threats of Boko Haram, militancy and cession, all fueled by ignorance, mutual suspicion, lack of survival skills and hopelessness of the youths on one hand and on the other, repeated saga of bad governance, all have added up to make the people extremely poor and vulnerable. Consequently, there is no peace and security in the country. Many peace actions have already been taken by the government, private organizations and individuals. Abstract: This study assessed the application of the principles of access in the management of primary schools in Anambra State. The study was guided by one research question and one hypothesis. The sample consisted of 943 participants (17 Education Secretaries, 234 Education Officers and 692 Head Teachers) selected through stratified random sampling technique. The descriptive survey research design was used. A researcher-developed questionnaire was used to collect data. The questionnaire comprised 13 items structured on a five-point rating scale. The questionnaire was validated by experts and had Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient value of 0.72.........

Abstract: The unsatisfactory state of guidance and counselling programme in Nigerian schools has called for assessment of factors which could improve the situation. Literature has proven that principals are the key agents in the implementation of school guidance programme. With a correlation research design, this study investigated the extent transformational leadership style of school principals correlate with counsellors' effectiveness in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. School principals, teachers and counsellors (N=1808) were the participants in the study, selected from 82 secondary schools in Akwa Ibom state using multi-stage sampling technique.........

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to inform state policy-makers and assessment and accountability specialist about vertical scaling methods and the potential advantages of vertical scaling in standard-based educational accountability in educational system. The possible application of vertical scale to support growth model is carried out. Final Test scores of SS1 and SS2 students for four consecutive years from 3 secondary schools was use to realize this. A statistical analysis of moving average was used to interpret growth in the student performance over time. The result revealed that growth can be tracked down over years across class levels, with the implementation of vertical scaling..........

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to identify the social sources of supportand the significant differences among adolescents according to the variables of gender and age. The sample consisted of (441) students,randomly selected public schools in the city of Al-Nassera. Social support scale used and developed by the author after verifying its validity and reliability. The results showed that the mean ofparticipants' rates for the total instrumentwas (1.98) and medium level, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the total social support sources and all domains due to the variables of gender and age.........
