Abstract: This paper analyzes the importance of monitoring dendrochronology study as indication aspects of the vitality of trees, pine and general culture of pine. The task was processed on the basis of a detailed analysis of black pine trees in the field and study of numerous bibliography in these areas. Dendrochronology study basis of monitoring and diameter increment, and the monitoring all the elements of volume increment. Research has been conducted on the territory of Šumadija, in the area of forest estates of Kragujevac. The monitoring it self is very important both because bioindicative, and future culture management of pine.
Keywords: Increment, monitoring, dendrochronology.

Abstract: In this present study, the leaf extracts of Litsea liyuyingi, were subjected to evaluate the phytochemical screenings, thrombolytic, membrane stabilizing, antioxidant, antimicrobial, cytotoxic, anti-nociceptive, anti-diarrheal and hypoglycemic activity. In phytochemical screening the presence of flavonoids, saponins, alkaloids, phenols and tannins were detected in the plant leaf extract. Methanol (43.55%) extract and its pet-ether fraction (42.11%) showed good thrombolytic effects and good membrane stabilizing effects were observed by carbon tetrachloride and aqueous soluble fractions respectively. Two different assays were performed to evaluate antioxidant activity.............

Abstract: A new isocratic HPLC method is optimized and validated for simultaneous determination of Vildagliptin (VLD), Pioglitazone Hydrochloride (PIO) and Glimepiride (GLIM) in Bulk and tablets (Gliptus® and Amaglust® tablets). The chromatographic separation was achieved on a reversed-phase analytical column [Hypersilgold® C18 (10μm, 150 x 4.6 mm) column] at ambient temperature. The separation was achieved by applying an isocratic elution system using acetonitrile and 0.05M potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer, adjusted by orthophosphoric acid to a pH of 3.5 with a ratio of (45:55 v/v) respectively, at a flow rate of 1.5 ml/min. The UV detection was performed at 200 nm, the drugs calibration curves exhibited linear concentration ranges of 5–75, 3–45 and 1–8 μg/ml for Vildagliptin, Pioglitazone and Glimepiride respectively with correlation coefficients not less than 0.9996...........

Abstract: Vibriospp., Enterobacteriaceae representatives and Listeria monocytogenes were isolated from commercially prepared smoked and fresh Atlantic salmon, smoked and fresh haddock, live mussels and oysters. Isolates were identified phenotypically and by sequencing the 16S rDNA gene.Vibriospp. occurred in high densities (>106 CFU gˉ1) in mussels. Enterobacteriaceae representatives were recorded at 2.2 x 106 CFU gˉ1 and 2.0 x 106 CFU gˉ1in fresh salmon and smoked haddock, respectively. Total heterotrophic counts in fresh salmon, live mussels and oysters reached 107, 107 and 106 CFU gˉ1, respectively............

Abstract: Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the tooth and supporting structures with signs of alveolar bone and connective tissue loss and is mediated by combination of periodontal pathogens and host defense system. The most common treatment for periodontal disease is scaling and root planing (SRP) which has been confirmed as a gold standard treatment of periodontitis. However, the limitations of SRP are the inability to access deeper areas of gingival sulcus which leads to early microbial recolonization and recurrence of periodontitis. In the recent years, most of the researcher's interest has shifted in evaluating...........

Abstract: Cigarette smoke contains many oxidants capable of generating reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species. These species play a key role in oxidative stress, leading to the development and progression of many disorders, including hypertension, cancer, diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases. This study estimated the levels of serum antioxidant vitamins and Malondialdehyde (MDA) as evidence of lipid peroxidation. Healthy male smokers aged 15-35years from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto community who consume at least five sticks of cigarette/day were recruited for the study............

Abstract: This study was designed to assess the effect of different concentrations of L-carnitine and Co enzyme Q10 (COQ10) supplied to SMART Pro- medium on human sperm concentration, sperm morphology and chromatin structure during in vitro sperm activation. Eighty seven samples of semen of infertile and fertile men were randomly collected at the High Institute for Infertility Diagnosis and Assisted Reproductive Technologies/Al- Nahrain University. The mean age of the men was (32.034 ± 0.57) years with mean duration of infertility (4.644 ± 0.25) years. Seminal fluid analyses were done involving macroscopic and microscopic examinations according to WHO criteria..........

Abstract: We have synthesized four novel derivatives of podophyllotoxin, the chalcone derivatives namely 2-benzylidene-6,7-dimethoxy-4-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-naphthalen-1-one (4a), 2-benzylidene-5,7-dichloro-6-hydroxy-4-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-naphthalen-1-one(4b), and the amino-thiazolyl derivatives namely7,8-dimethoxy-5-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-naphtha[1,2-d] thiazol-2-yl amine (5a) and 2-amino-6,8-dichloro-5-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-naphtho[1,2-d] thiazol-7-ol (5b). The aryl tetralin ring system in these compounds were attached to a fused aminothiazolyl ring or a chalcone ring. Synthesis of the tetralin ring in these podophyllotoxin derivatives was accomplished by...........

Abstract: Background: Strong desire for foreign wears and the global economic recession favour the importation and use of fairly used clothes without giving consideration to any attending health implication. This study examined the level of microbial contamination in some fairly used clothes and the effect of washing them with different detergents and disinfectants on the microbial load of these wears. Materials and Method: Second hand clothes such as bed sheets, towels, children wears, adult wears and panties were bought from Katangua Flea Market in Lagos, Nigeria, between August and September, 2014. Isolation of contaminating microbes was carried out using Culture and Plate Count methods. Isolates were identified through morphology and appropriate biochemical methods. Susceptibility test was done on each of the bacteria isolates..........
