Abstract: H. rufipes and H. parvaccola are criptic and sympatric species that are difficult to identify morphologically. So that PCR-RFLP markers was used to analysis of 16s rRNA gene sequences that restrictionon enzyme AvaII The result showed that PCR-RFLP marker can be used to identify species of H. parvaccola and H. rufipes and distinguish these two species.

Abstract:Objective: The nutrients, phytochemicals composition of moinmoin made from different varieties of leguminous plants were quantitatively investigated Methods: Samples were subjected to chemical and instrumental analysis for proximate, minerals and phytochemical composition. Chemical analysis was carried out according to AOAC methods. While atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) was used for mineral determination. Results: The result of the nutrients composition revealed that moinmoin made from Mucuna pruriens and packaged in banana leave have higher protein content (34.46 %), and fat content (7.72%) compared to samples from cowpea moinmoin and bambaranut. Although there was increase in values of Na, Ca and Mg in moinmoin made from Mucuna pruriens wrapped with banana leave......

Abstract: End –stage renal disease (ESRD) is the final stage of chronic kidney disease in which the kidney no longer function well enough to meet the needs of dailylife. Based on this, a Prospective Observational study was performedin Department of Medicine, at RMMCH, Annamalai University, TamilNadu, period of study 6 months; Between November 2016 and April 2017. Totally 54 patients were enrolled based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The patients were counseled about their disease and lifestyle modification. The objective of the study is to find out the socio-demographic characteristics of ESRD patients, to observe the variation in blood pressure before and after hemodialysis, anemic condition in hemodialysis patient and to study the drug use pattern in ESRD patients at RMMCH. In our study we.........

Abstract: Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed type in the world and the leading cause of cancer-related death among women. Its central component of treatment is full knowledge of the extent of disease and biological characteristics, where the use of genetic profile has contributed to tumor characterization and therapeutic targeting. Then, the objective this study was evaluated the use of the genetic profile of invasive ductal carcinoma of the female breast and it's obtained scores. To verify its use or not for directing the treatment of breast cancer in surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. A search was performed on the PUBMED and SCOPUS databases........

Abstract: Koraput is one of the districts in Odisha endowed with enormous diversity of cryptogamic and phanerogamic flora. The present paper deals with the addition of 4 new species and one new variety of angiospermic taxa to the flora of this district as well as for state of Odisha. These taxa are Rotheca serrata (L.) Steane & Mabb, var. amplexifolium (Lamiaceae), Exacum trinervium (L.) Druce ssp. Macranthum (Gentianaceae ), Cyperus fuscus L. (Cyperaceae), Utricularia graminifolia Vahl (Lentibulariaceae). The study provides a detailed taxonomic description, photographs and relevant information based on fresh collections of specimen.

Abstract: This study explores theapplication ofreversed phaseliquid chromatography (UPLC) for the simultaneous quantification of Baclofen and its potential impurities in a pre-filled syringe. The separation of impurities from Baclofen was achieved on Acquity BEHC18 100 x 2.1,1.7 μm, using a simple inexpensive buffer (potassium phosphate, 0.01 M), a mixture of acetonitrile and methanol as the mobile phase. The mobile phase was pumped at a flow rate of 0.3 mL min-1 using a simple linear gradient elution mode. The sample components were detected by UV-VIS detector at 225 nm. The method can resolveBaclofen and Pharmacopeia (USP and Ph. Eur) impurities in a single chromatographic injection within 8 minutes of run time. The method is validated as per the current ICH guidelines for...........

Abstract: The objective of this research was to present a taxonomic treatment of the subfamily Caesalpinioideae (Fabaceae) in a Cerrado fragment in East from Maranhão, in Northeast Brazil. The Cerrado area sampled belongs to the municipality of São João do Sóter/Maranhão, in the East region of the State, where monthly expeditions were carried out between September 2016 and February 2017, for the observation, collection and identification of botanical material. After collection the specimens were herborized and analyzed with the help of taxonomic keys and specialized literature for identification, and consultation with specialists in the family. In the research were cataloged 12 genera, distributed in 19 species, the genus Mimosa L. being the most representative. The work provides............

Abstract: The ingestion of the gummifera Atractylis plant or glue thistle , common in the Mediterranean area, causing an intoxication which is characterized by the diversity of its affections mainly by a liver damage often lethal. Renal damages remain less frequent. We report the case of a suicide attempt by glue thistle with an acute kidney failure requiring dialysis and hepatic impairment with good evolution. The toxicity of Atractylis gummifera resides in atractyloside and carboxyatractyloside, capable of inhibiting mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation and responsible of cellular toxicity of various organs, especially renal impairement, the acute tubular necrosis remains the most likely etiology. The diagnosis is carried by the toxins research in the gastric fluid or the urine..

Abstract: Herbal medicine has been practiced in the world since ancient times, yet minimal research data has been documented on their use in Murang'a County, Kenya. The aim of this study was to identify different types of herbs of medicinal value in Murang'a County, their uses, and effect on ectoparasites with emphasis on fleas and jiggers control. A cross-sectional study was carried out using a semi structured questionnaire and a total of 28 herbalists were interviewed. The herbalists identified 122 herbs which were used for the treatment of various illnesses. A total of 18 plants were used to control jiggers and fleas and Solanum campylacanthum was the most commonly used plant. In the treatment of pneumonia, 33 plants were used and Aloe species was the most commonly used, and was used by...........
