Abstract: The hands receive profuse blood supply by superficial and deep palmar arches (SPA & DPA), though both arches are constituted by radial and ulnar arteries, variations are constantly observed in SPA. During routine dissections we observed unilateral incomplete SPA being formed by superficial branches of radial and ulnar arteries in the right hand of an old male cadaver. These two arteries remained independent without anastomosis forming incomplete arch. The superficial branch of radial artery supplied the thumb and radial side of index finger by its two branches – the arteriaprincepspollicis and arteriaradialisindicis. Normally these two branches are given by radial artery but here they are given by a branch of radial artery.

Abstract: Upon request from Jamaica's Civil Society, the Matrimonial Division of the Supreme Court of Jamaica was highlighted as an area that needed interventions to improve its business processes cycle. This is the highest Divorce Court on the island and the numbers of application were drastically increasing resulting in a noticeable backlog. This prompted the need for a business process workflow study; focusing on the business process cycle to identify problem areas, document work flow process, identify required statistics for international partnerships, track approximate case completion rates and make recommendations for improved output. It was found that based on available resources the process was adequate considering the limited resources available. In-addition, there was a lack of available data to assist with the future developments plans of the division; and a pilot project was needed to clear up the back log.

Abstract: National level production of livestock and livestock products in Kenya has increased over the years even though many households involved in livestock production have continued to be poor and food insecure. It is perceived that poor performance of dairy businesses is stemming from poor business growth caused by certain business related factors. Consequently, a study was conducted to establish factors influencing business growth of smallholder dairy farming enterprises in Imenti South District of Meru County, Kenya.

Abstract: Today there are numerous challenges are being faced by Indian construction managers. Some are new to the industry, and some are centuries old. Many of these challenges are a direct result of construction operations, while others a result of indirect, peripheral activities. A surprising number of challenges are not construction issues but must be addressed and managed by the construction manager (CM) to ensure project success. Some of the construction issues include workforce considerations, safety, time constraints, and the changing nature of the work. Non-construction challenges that CMs face that are part of the business landscape include legal issues, government regulations, environmentalconcerns, and socio-political pressures. It is critical that the CM understands thedemanding realities that he or she faces in the planning and control of constructionoperations.

Abstract: There are various definitions of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), varying between countries and their levels of economic development. The definition is also based on considerations such as the number of employees and revenue levels. In the United States and European Union (EU) countries SMEs are enterprises with employees under 500 while in developing countries any enterprise employing below 100 employees would constitute an SME. In Kenya, Small enterprises are defined as enterprises employing between 1-50 employees, while medium enterprises are those with 51-99 employees (GoK, 1999).

Abstract:Management being a social discipline deals with the behavior of people and human insight. Hence, workforce diversity is the biggest challenge and at the same times the biggest opportunity for the 21st century managers. "Diversity Management" is a strategy to promote the perception, acknowledgement and implementation of diversity in organizations. Workforce diversity has significant implications for the management. The managers will be required to shift their approach from treating each group of workers alike to recognizing differences among them and following such policies so as to encourage creativity, improve productivity, reduce labor turnover and avoid any sort of discrimination.
