Abstract: In the last few years, it has been observed through various surveys and seminars that the large number of engineering graduates is not employable. One of the important reasons for that is the lack of necessary skills in them. Though the purposes of education is the holistic development of the graduates and make them strong in fundamentals, but it cannot be denied that in the present economic environment, developing necessary skills is also important. In this context, this paper presents the results of the survey of industry executives visiting campuses for placement to find out the skills required by the industry so that the curriculum can be revised and delivery mechanism augmented to prepare students with desired skills

Abstract: This study aims to investigate relationship between talent management and organization performance in Sylhet city, Bangladesh. Data have been collected form the employees of retail stores located in Sylhet city using structured close ended questionnaire adapting convenience sampling technique. Correlation was applied to investigate the relationship. The results show the components of talent management such as employee attraction, selection, engagement and retention have positive relationship with the performance of retail sectors in Sylhet city, Bangladesh. Employee development is identified negatively related with retail sector performance

Innovations generally assume different forms such as product innovations, marketing innovations, micro MFIS, location innovation, and research and development innovation. Financial innovations include institutional innovation, product innovation, and process innovation. These innovations have eased the way of doing business for financial institutions including microfinance institutions. Abstract: Social entrepreneurs are one that are involved within making the contribution for the social, economic, cultural, and environmental betterment and development within the country. An increase trend is observed within the contribution being made by the experts within the field. In the traditional environment, charitable and other NGOS are criticized for being operating as bureaucratic organizations while public sectors are criticized for being the overstretched organizations (Zahra, Rawhouser, Bhawe, Neubam and Hayton, 2008). In such situation, social entrepreneurship is appreciated and highlighted as a source for increasing and meeting the social and economic needs of the country. The environments in which the enterprises operate are observed to directly impact over the outcomes of the research.
