Abstract: This review provides an understanding of and justification for the transdisciplinary research(TDR) as an action-oriented research approach in higher education that promotes sustainabledevelopment in society. Current studies on TDR show that today more than ever before, there is a shifting landscape of knowledge generation in contemporary societies owing to the nature and number of challenges society is seized with which among others include political strife, hunger, unemployment, diseases, and urban migration. Little attests to the fact that societal problems have become too complex for one point of view as provided for by disciplinary research.............

Abstract: Accounting is a field that operates within an ever-changing environment. In terms of accounting research, development of theory is a central activity crucial to the advancement of knowledge within the discipline. Abstract: Bangladesh is now considered as a lower middle-incomecountry by the blessing of international trade. Therefore, Bangladesh needs to take an effective policymaking decision in terms of international trade fortheirfurther development. Hence it is important to check whether Bangladesh needs more import or export for its further development. As a result, current research tries to see the relationship between import and GDP growth of Bangladesh by taking 32 years (1981-1992) of time series data.Relevant data were collected from the Bangladesh Bank website and World Bank Database. From the analysis, theresearcherconcludes that import is negatively related with GPD growth as well as GDP growth rate is also negatively related with Import.

Abstract: Competency mapping is an area which has been least explored in Indian industries. Competency mapping is an important resource in the environment, and is adjunct to knowledge management and other organizational initiatives. The value of competency mapping is that many employers now purposefully screen employees to hire people with specific competencies. Competency mapping is used for: recruitment and selection, identification of training needs, role renewal, etc. Employers may need to hire someone who can be an effective worker or who has demonstrated great active listening skills. Alternately, they may need someone who enjoys taking initiative or someone who is very good at knowledge..............

Abstract: Formal contractual arrangements cover a considerable share of globe agricultural production. Agricultural contracts can have many beneficial effects. They can help farmers manage price and production risks, thus encouraging more efficient use of farm and processing capacities. But contracts can also have less benign effects. They can introduce new and unexpected risks for farmers—in some circumstances, they can extend a buyer's market power— and they can effect fundamental changes in how farming is organized and carried out. In this our article we address transaction cost theory (TCT) in some details as a theoretical framework in study of methodology............
