Abstract: Disclosure is a medium of communicating information to users. In business world annual report is the most commonly used medium of communication. Corporate governance practices followed in business firms are communicated through corporate governance section of annual reports. Clause 49 of the listing agreement sets a detailed corporate governance provision to be followed by listed companies in India. This study aimed at evaluating the governance practices in Pharmaceutical companies as against disclosure requirements of clause 49. 35 mid cap companies and 18 large cap companies were taken as sample. The methodology includes arriving at scores for different disclosure criteria. And disclosure criteria were ranked based on those scores. There found differences between mid cap and large cap companies with respect to mandatory disclosure practices.

Abstract: In recent few years the banking sector of Bangladesh is probably passing through the worst condition in its history. Some major scandals in Sonali Bank Ltd. Basic Bank Ltd., Modhumoti Bnak Ltd., Farmers Bank Ltd., and recently Janata Bank Ltd. have fallen this industry in serious trouble. The main objective of this study is to find out the major causes behind the present crisis in the banking industry of Bangladesh and also recommend some suggestions as remedial measures. The researchers have found that the political interventions in various levels, unethical practices/ corruption, unhealthy competition among prevailing banks are some of the major causes of the present prevailing crisis in this sector. Many banks are in capital shortage and have fallen in liquidity crisis. Extensive strategy formulation and proper implementation by all the stakeholder institutions have now become imperative to get rid of this crisis.

Abstract: The article deals with management of personnel as a whole in organizations which are reflected in the article of personnel management and the employing organization. Thus, organization are responsible for the growth and failure, of their personnel and this is traceable to the level of sophistication of personnel department and philosophy and the attitude of some organizations regarding personnel department. Personnel management is to say the least, this is wrong as this could go a long way in aiding decision making. A change of attitude is required towards uplifting the professionalism of personnel management to become expedient. The office of personnel manager cannot just be occupied by anybody. It is only available to those that undergone special training in the act of man management........

Abstract: Green marketingis the marketing of environmentally safe products. The manufacturers of green products has a very wide scope as it includes many activities like modifying existing product to make it environmentally safe, promoting green products, and inducing the habit of purchasing green product. The manufacturer's prime duty is to protect the environment by curbing the use of harmful elements keeping in mind about the consumer's well being. The present study tries to find out the manufacturer's perspective about green marketing in Guwahati cityabout the prospects and challenges of practicing it and to analyze the key factors for preferring it. It is found that respondents choose green marketing because the buyer's insist on purchasing green products as the buyers now a days are more environment conscious and they also want to bequeath a clean earth to their offsprings.

Abstract: The main problem faced by the lower income group people is the non accessibility of banking and other financial services, which causes hindrance in their social and economic development. These financial products include insurance, credit etc. The great tragedy lies in the fact that sometimes even though there are certain financial services which are specially designed to meet the needs of these low income group people, these people are not aware of it due to illiteracy or any other reason. Thus lack of awareness also leads to the financial exclusion of these people. For the achievement of financial inclusion, the most important goal is to make the banking facilities available to all the unbanked areas and to each and every household. Hardly one-fourth of the rural households are assisted.........

Abstract: An examination of the performance of universities around the world indicates that no Nigerian University is rated among the top and reputable universities. There is no gain in saying that the mission statements, goals and expectations of the founders have not been achieved since their global performance, competitiveness and reputation are low. Abstract: The study investigated the iron intake of form two girls at Dzivaresekwa 2 High School. Iron is a component of several proteins including enzymes, cytochromes, myoglobin and haemoglobin. It can exist in various oxidation states including the ferrous, ferric and feirl. The study was conducted after the school experienced more incidences of form two girls falling down, feeling dizzy and frequently visiting local clinics for treatment. The study intended to establish iron rich foods taken by form two girls at Dzivarasekwa 2 High School, assess the frequency of consumption of iron giving foods in the diet of form two girls at Dzivaresekwa 2 High School and determine factors that influence iron intake of form two girls at Dzivaresekwa 2 High School.
