Abstract: The hotel industry has been growing at a fast rate and especially in developing countries in recent times. However, it is one of the industries with the largest ecological footprint therefore increasing the burden on the environment. As such, there is need for the industry to engage in policies and activities that reduce or reverse the damage on the environment.
