Abstract: Background: The ceramic industry demand a high amount of heat, or thermal energy to perform its process. In this system, the kiln is the main responsible in this matter. The equipment consumes around half of the fuel used in the wet grind process. Due to this, the energy efficiency in the sector depends on the efficiency of this process.. (10)
