Abstract: Conversational implicature as the most frequently discussed topic in Pragmatics is the implication as an implied meaning conveyed indirectly, and understood implicitly without ever being explicitly stated. The purpose of the research is to describe how the conversational implicatures are conveyed by the major characters within their communication and what types of implicatures are found in their utterances in the novel The Sun Also Rises. To support this study, the theoretical framework from Grice developed by Gazdar and Levinson was used to focus the analysis. In addition, the content analysis study with qualitative approach was conducted to analyse the content of the major characters' utterances as the data of the study in Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises. Based on the data analysis, it was found.............

Abstract: Number Homophones which is the combination of letters and numbers to represent words is anascent and most commonly used form ofText messaging. This is characterised by the quests to economize energy, save cost, save time and take short cuts in communication. This however, has degenerated toAmbiguity as the reader is faced with the herculean task of decoding the message, leading to misinterpretation and total misunderstanding of the intended message.Themenace has eaten deep into the educational sector and has negatively affected the academic standard of the Nigerian Undergraduates. Using the purposive sampling and Analytical method of inquiry, 268 text messages from 350 students in 300 level English classes of Babcock University were collated and analysed. Findings showed that lack of uniformity, and the super-contraction and clippings defeats the motive of the encoder as the decoder finds............

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine Private and Public Junior High School (JHS) students' attitude towards mathematics in the East Mamprusi District. Studens' Attitudes Towards Mathematics (SATM) questionnaire with reliability coefficient (Cronbach alpha value) of 0.83 was used to collect data on 200 sampled students (Boys = 105, Girls = 95) from 8 public and private Junior High Schools in the study area. Principal component factor analyses were performed using Varimax rotation to capture Eigen values greater than 1, eliminate factors with loadings less than 0.4, and remove items with non-simple factor structure. Four subscales were identified as Anxiety, Confidence, Enjoyment, and Benefit/Value. Data collected were analysed using Means and Standard Deviations. t-test was also used............

Abstract: Motivation is something that energizes, directs, and sustains behavior. It gets students moving, points them in a particular direction, and keeps them going. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivating factors that enhance students' academic performance. The specific objective was; to assess the influence of incentives on students' academic performance. This study was guided by the self determination theory which distinguishes between three types of motivation, namely, intrinsic, extrinsic and amotivation. These types of motivation are completely different and at opposite ends of a spectrum of self determined behaviour. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design where it targeted a population of 180 respondents who included 6 teachers, 139 students and 35 parents. Data for the study............

Abstract: Educational institutions have not been able to produce alumni who have professional competence, either in terms of knowledge, skills or critical thinking skills. This is because learning is more theoretical, just touching on the level of introduction of the norm and not at the level of internalization and action in real life every day. This research aims to improve the quality of learning and find the design of learning models Introduction to Macro Economics through problem-based learning model. Specifically the purpose of this study is to: (1) identify instructional needs Introduction to macroeconomics (2) develop instructional design that can be applied in lectures (3) analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning model that has been developed so that it can be used as input for the manager..........

Abstract: Education has a crucial role in improving social development and prosperity. Education is a constitutional right and represents the country's human capital. In many countries, training can be given as night and day. The aim here is to present the right of night education and therefore educational equality to those who cannot have the opportunity to receive daytime education. One of the main aims of Harran University is to provide training to meet the needs of the agriculture and industry sectors that are expected to emerge as part of the GAP project. Sanliurfa Technical Sciences Vocational High School has departments that provide 11 days and 6 nights program trainings. About 3,000 students are studying in these sections. The main material of this research is the data obtained from the students who are studying at Harran University, Sanliurfa Technical Sciences Vocational School. Students were..........

Abstract: Death is a conditioned phenomenon but despite of long starvation or progressive motor neuron disease if cell lives, or death does not come, it is unconditioned phenomenon and it is lawlessness. To understand phenomenon of body structure and function (Both normal and abnormal and life and death phenomena), we have to understand Basic Building Blocks (B.B.B – Mind – CCP, Code PcPs and CP and Mass -- Fig 1). Life effects are higher thought expressions ( activation different Code PcPs – informations ) of B.B.Bs. Formations of molecules , atoms and particles are due to lower thought expressions ( Thought - CCP – Programming – Code PcPs –Interaction – Effects ) . If thought expressions are abnormal it called lawlessness in nature. After certain age (11 years) Prahlad's body transformed to certain changes that are abnormal to us. And it followed Mendel's law of Independent.........

Abstract: It is wrong to say that on 14 September 2015, the universe's gravitational waves (not waves rather they are particles) were observed for the very first time. . It is the spring balance that detects density (number of EGs / unit area) of energized gravitons, hence they are not hypothetical particles. The galaxies (either bright or quiescent) are receding and going away in expanding universe but still they are merging why?. The reason is, thought of receding is conditioned (pulled by CDM layer gravity in new Hoyle- Narlikar universe Model) but thought of merging is unconditioned. Both thoughts are separate and their simultaneous expression is independent of each other. Hence in expanding universe galaxies could collide only when thought of merging is triggered . It is fed thought and feeding was done in precreation era by the Highest center of the universe. It is lawlessness and it is due to wish of Almighty B.B.B and wish is triggered by Time mindness (TM). Hence instead of going away, they would start..........
